We ordered a wonderful French Burgundy for 5 and the server poured it all out at once...maybe a preference to me, but 100+ bottles of wine should be Savored, and not everyone drinks s full glass... The bread arrived...tasted great but would have really made an impact if it was warm...the butter in a beautiful presentation sprinkled with sea salt... More

We had an enjoyable dinner party in a cozy setting with excellent food and friendly service. Offerings change with what looks fresh and interesting at the market. My wife's octipus tagine was inspired; my dinner of an updated take on steak frites was notable for the quality of the bavette (hanger steak) that was perfectly prepared. Our friends onion soup... We have been several times to Marche aux Fleurs and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and the patio is the perfect setting. Will be back!

Casually elegant and rustic atmosphere. Cheeky and competent staff- split double orders three ways several times for easy sharing. Exciting wine list. Thoughtful, delicious, artful, just pulled from the gardeness and I can't wait to go back...

My husband & I have been here a number of times in the past & love their bacon wrapped date appetizer which we ordered this time. We had drinks & were chatting. It was lovely...until someone plopped down his salad & my soup. We informed this person that we were waiting for our appetizer & she curtly said she knew... More

I happen to love country French food. But this is so good. The staff are all wonderful. Not over priced. My absolute favorite is the gnocchi. Second recommendation is the Duck con fit, the Duck is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. In the autumn they make the best French Onion soup I have ever had. Just go.... More

The table and chairs weren't very comfortable, and a bit crowded. The menu is quite theatrical in its choice of vocabulary and ingredients, but then this is Marin County. Our party of four gathered to have a nice visit, but the acoustics and proximity of other diners weren't as conducive to relaxed conversation as I had hoped. Service, food and... More

My family and I made a reservation for this restaurant for Mother’s Day in celebration of my mom and had a very uncomfortable experience with unsettling service.  We arrived early and checked in yet was told to wait while another party arrived after us and was seated right away which I find a little rude and odd when we had... This lovely little spot is in Marin County. The selection isn't huge, but what they serve makes quite a statement. For starters Burrata (cow cheese) with port-poached fig, California Petrale sole, Winter vegetable table ragout, Pots de creme, Pomegranate and lime sherbet. The list goes on and on. When you are north of the Golden Gate Bridge search for this... More

Listen, I live in Marin. I used to live not far from this restaurant. I drove by it many many times, and always said I wanted to try it. Finally after 8 years, I got to it last night. I love good food, I have been to French Laundry, and Chez Panisse. Honestly I think this is better than both... More
