Food was only pretty good. I had kind of an underwhelming Cobb salad but the macadamia roasted coffee made up for it!

Good lunch choice in a downtown area. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian sandwich with avocado. The pastry selection is best in the early morning but still good at lunch. We really liked the well prepared food.

But, it's just fast food, self serve. My friend had the Chinese chicken salad. There was plenty of chicken and the portion was large. I had the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad combo which was overpriced. The BLT had 2 small pieces of tomato and 3 small slices of bacon, The roll was the best part of the sandwich. My... More

Nice menu. But basic deli. Way over priced for what you receive. I got a basic club sandwich for 9$. I wouldn't go back. But free wifi.

When our tour of the Capitol was over, it was time for lunch so we just walked across the street from the Capitol to La Bou. Our local friends knew this little cafe which serves a variety of Asian and American soup, salads, sandwiches, and pastry. The routine is customers order at the counter and seat themselves inside or outside.... More

I like La Bou! They have sandwiches, soups, salads! This one, if right area, is across from Chops Steak House in Sacramento (SACRA)! Anyway, I see they have child menu! I order child turkey sandwich! Pediatric size yes, but still come with salad and small drink! Since La Bou had orange juice, I get that instead any sodas! Read any... More

Good food and great service. Perfect place to people watch and great view of the state capital. I enjoyed just seeing the locals do the lunch break thing and the tourists stand in the center to get "that perfect shot".

I'm sad to say that I can no longer support what was once a fresh and delicious place to eat. The food is pitiful (see picture), barely edible, and the staff doesn't have a sense for customer service. They were yelling at each other and acting like it's such a big ordeal to help the customers. I am completely turned... More

This is the place for a great breakfast pastry, fresh fruit cup or egg sandwich. Later in the day the cranberry turkey sandwich is outstanding on the fresh bread baked on site. Sit inside or out and enjoy great internet connectivity.
