This is one of the current class of lovely, upscale museum restaurants/cafes. Small finely prepared dishes and sandwiches. Good vegetable soup and Caesarish salad. Lovely airy spacious seating area. Excellent place for a light lunch or coffee/snack break.

Order lunch (soup, salad, or sandwich) by the counter and it will be served at your table in the Museum's expansive lobby. All is nicely prepared.

After a quick discussion on where to go for lunch between the rain showers, we decided to take the 10 minute walk from Old Sac to the Crocker museum. Follow the train tracks south from the Tower Bridge and you will arrive there rather quickly. Once you arrive, don't worry about the ticket kiosk inside the entrance, just walk past... More

Had lunch here after touring the museum. The staff was courteous and professional. The food was of a good quality though the menu is limited.

We are museum members and have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner. Today my husband enjoyed the Fromage Panini and I loved the Rocket Green Salad (chicken, beets, pistachios, red onions, oranges, arugula and citrus viniagrette dressing). We always get a couple of glasses of wine, so today's total was $34, but having visited several museum cafes around... More

Gazpacho soup was excellent. Should not have ordered Muffuletta Panini as I am accustomed to those made by Central Grocery in New Orleans French Quarter. Ice cream bars excellent and others satisfied with food choices.

We missed the actual counter service menu choices since it's only open from 11:30 until 1:30 p.m. Had to choose from the Grab and Go Case and share a salad. The experience was a disappointment. Would like to try the cafe again during the listed times for a better assessment of their menu.

Before going up to the Crocker Museum's third floor to see the wonderful exhibits of Albrecht Durer's drawings, etchings and prints , we ate at the Croker Cafe that looks out onto the outstanding metal sculptures created by Wei Wei, the twelve animals of the zodiac. The meal was outstanding. I had the Cuban sandwich that is made from smoked... More

We have been to museums all over the Unites States and Europe and have found the cafes to be good places for lunch. The Crocker Café was no exception. The service was quick after we ordered - and it was at noon on a fairly busy day. The dishes were well prepared and very good. It was also reasonable. The... More

Short on time to see the Crocker collection and to have dinner. We ordered two main course salads, which were tasty, along with a glass of wine. Pleasant seating area is available. Helpful staff.
