I've always tried to avoid this plaza because of the crazy parking situation. But I was pleasantly surprised with the authentic Shanghainese cuisine and the service here. The restaurant is spacious, bright, and clean. It serves beer (on tap or bottled), wine, and limited choice of Chinese liquor. The classic dishes are well executed and beautifully presented. We had the... More

We intended to go to Chinatown but because there was so much traffic due to the Chinese New Year celebration,we ended up going here. The restaurant is located on the second floor and it was pretty packed so we thought it's a good one. The menu is overwhelming and they have pictures of each dish. I ordered fried noodles with... It was a bit tricky for out of towners to find this place. The dumplings are good we like the salty duck egg dumpling it was unique.

This place has always been consistently great for their Shanghainese food. Throughout the many visits, I have always enjoyed their dishes. Their steamed and pan fried pork buns are some of their specialties. I have always enjoyed their fried seaweed yellow croaked fish, their stir fried rice cakes, and the veggie with rice hot pot. Their cold tofu is great... More

By watching the dishes served here, you know you are getting the real thing. The owner and servers are from Shanghai because they speak Shanghainese not Chinese. The food are good and reasonably prices. Go early or very late at night or you have to wait a while for the table. The services above average. Go and try them out.

Everyone in the restaurant was Chinese; that should tell you everything on how authentic, delicious, and perfectly prepared all our dishes were given.

Very nice decor but below average food. The tables and dining room was very beautiful, and the menu was extensive. However several dishes we wanted were not available, and what we did order came out super quick (3 mins) and was not very good.

Had the "braised meatballs in brown sauce" (紅燒獅子頭), "special pork steamed buns" (小籠包), "Shanghai fried pork buns" (生煎包) and "read bean pancakes" (豆沙鍋餅). The first two dishes were the best of the four and the food was authentic. Service was good. I definitely recommend this place.

煲仔原煲的咸肉菜飯,可口美味,有家的感覺,推介!生煎包,外面煎香金黃,內裡肉汁多,豬肉鮮,好吃!冷菜只是一般。價錢大眾化,服務也很友善。great shanghai food restaurant. Highly recommend this veggie rice in pot. Pan fried pork bun is great too. Server is friendly and polite. Good price and high recommend

We were wandering around the center as the reaturant we thought we would try had a "C" rating for sanitation. Shanghai had an "A" rating and was a family style restaurant, so we tried it. WE were the only caucasians, which is usually a positive. Owner/server were very good. We had a soup , Ma Po Tofu (which I love),... More
