This review is not for the food, I'm sure it's great, it is a review for the service. I work for DoorDash and was assigned an order at this restaurant. The order is assigned to the carrier and the restaurant simultaneously. It took me 15 minutes to drive to the restaurant and when I get there it's not ready, come... More

I've eaten pizza around the world and have tried mightily to find good pizza in California. Rosie's is as good as it gets. Thin crust. Caesar salad is great. Good to eat in or take out. Oh, and a favorite of law enforcement and the fire department.

Some places are just good and consistently good year round. Rosie's New York Pizza is such a place. They don't have the tastiest Pizza in town, but their Pizza is good! Salads are large and generous, Pasta plates are delicious (Try the Penna Bolognese), Calzones are huge and made to order, and staff always friendly and helpful. I frequent this... More

Had some pizza here a couple of months ago - not "New York" but quite acceptably average. My room mate, who lived in Manhattan for 10 years, agrees with me.

Great NY style pizza slices. Have had plain cheese & their margherita. This place is one of the handful of pizza places in the SF/SJ/OAK area that actually make authentic NY style pizza. The service was fast & good. There was plenty of street parking.

I don't eat bread so I have nothing to say about the pizza. Im telling you though the chicken caesar salad is epic. More chicken then lettuce and yummy hot chicken too. Not nasty recently thawed flavorless kind that is put on most caesar.

Pizza is Pizza, right? Well, no it's not! As a pizza snob I've have some really good slices and pies in the Big Apple, Italia, and with a bit of searching, the West Coast! Rosie's does a really good Pizza! But, they have other things too! Try a Pasta. The spaghetti and Rigatone are delicious! Your meal would not be... More

If this is the best pizza in San Jose, I would recommend the owners to go and try a pizza in down-town.The pizza was tasteless it was lame. For the price I paid, I could probably have a better taste at Pizza Hut or Cesar's. When I told the employee about the tasteless pizza she said "-It's pizza, what would... More

I don't understand some restaurant owners. Restaurants are like an old boat, something you have to sink every penny into in order to get it afloat and moving well. So, the average restaurant costs and easy million to open, so ROSIE's I have two questions...1. If you are going to buy three flat screened TV's in order to bring in... More
