My wife and I ate her when we ran into it one evening in San Jose. The food was absolutely great! My wife had their burger and hands down it was probably the best burger I've tried in years. I had the filet and it was also fantastic. The bar service was great with a nice selection of craft beers... More

Tasty burger, reasonably good beer selection. Good service. Solid choice for a traveler to quench a thirst and fill the stomach

Was looking for a nice place to grab something to drink before heading out to eat. Stopped at a local bar on the same block that did not have a kitchen and the waitress recommended Firehouse. Don't be fooled by size or the menu. Size appears small but is has a pretty good size sitting area in the rear area.... More

I was in San Jose for business and decided to stop in for a quick bite and a beer on my way back to my hotel. The staff are friendly and pleasant to chat with. I had the burger that is offered and a beer. I know burgers are pretty simple but you would be surprised how many places don't... More

The place has great steaks and beers. Really a good kitchen. However the serivce was somewhat unexperienced. Out of mash? Dont tell the guests and have them ask for fries...

Stopped by here and split a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. The chicken sandwich was by far the winner! The cheeseburger is great but the chicken sandwich was just so much better. Had a nibble of some bacon a friend ordered and it was delicious as well. Located right next to San Pedro square so lots of parking available.

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening & enjoyed the food a lot. The service was excellent, the food was great & portions were large. The location is great as well. Close to downtown & convention center. The menu is a bit limited & children probably would not be interested in most of the options. Items were quite expensive but... More

The menu, wine list, beer list and cocktail lists aren't very long but they have excellent breadth. The beet salad and octopus were excellent. The angry prawns are very spicy and also good.

Gastro pub quality fare made from scratch in addition to impressive daily specials. A vast and well stocked bar that includes hand crafted cocktails in addition to draft and bottle beers, and select wines. Be sure to participate in the occasional whole bar sing-alongs, or cheer the bartenders on as they prepare exotic flaming drinks and smash bottles behind the bar. Lots of LCD screens when there is a sporting event or Sharks game - or just digital flames all around late at night. Open from 11AM until 2AM weekdays with happy hour from 3pm to 7pm. On weekends, open from 4PM until 2AM. We have full table service both inside and on the patio. Patio heaters when its cold.
