The service was excellent as was the fried calamari. The California rolls were good. A word of advice, they can be spicy for some people. The catfish was a mess. It had not been skinned before cooking. Thus, my wife had to do that resulting in lose if the blacked taste and some fo the good meat. The trout was... More

Seafood was excellent.. ... Sushi was fresh. Shrimp salad looked amazing. Yellow fin tuna was seared just right. Seating was a little tight. Dessert was average but who's here for the dessert.

Too lazy to dress up, 3 adults and 3 children so we decided on take-out. Great clam chowder with plenty of clams. Since moving out of the area 20 years ago, there was no disappointment in everything ordered. There are a few Fish Markets from San Jose to Palo Alto; whichever one you are close to will not be a... Our friend recommended this restaurant for wonderful seafood and she was right, it was wonderful! The fish was delicious and cooked perfectly, the service fabulous. The menu definitely had something for everyone. We will definitely return - it was great!

The Fish Market never disappoints. Everything on the menu is great, but I am partial to Swordfish & mine was perfect. A good cold beer & all is well with the world.

Will was overworked or overdistracted, I am not sure which one. Nice enough server, but not really paying attention to what we needed. Like taking food and drink orders at the same time, nope. Just drinks first, then a ten minute wait. No refill on hot water for tea. The flavors were good. The world's smallest crab cakes with arugula... More

Ha a 5:30 reservation. Finally seated at 5:55 with plenty of seats in the restaurant. Waiter promptly took the order soup came out in 5 minutes, main courses took another 1/2 hour. Even getting the check was slow. The food was tasty and fresh.

Came here for an early dinner (5:15) before a movie. Restaurant was busy but we got seated right away. Had to flag down wait staff for water, bread and butter but once we got going, dinner came quickly. We usually eat at the fish market in Palo Alto and this restaurant was essentially the same for quality and quantity. Very... More
