My brother and I ate here. I loved the retro feel of the place. And the burgers were delicious. I also loved the classic fries. Great background music.

Maybe it was so good, because I'd had some of the worst garlic fries at Levi Stadium the other day, and these were some of the absolute best garlic fries. But everything else was good too. I had the horribly named, but very good Miss San Jose (chicken sandwich). My wife and one son had burgers, and the other had... More

It had a fast food feel to it but the food was great. They are styled after an old fashioned diner, but you order at the window instead of at your table. The table I was with had burgers and they were happy - I had fish and chips and was very pleased with them as well. Pretty fast and... More

Went with a friend to Peggy Sue's for dinner recently just before a Shark's game. Had been there just once before. Both experiences have been good. This time had a nice grilled tuna sandwich and very good garlic fries. The gentleman who took our order was very pleasant. Nice ambiance to the restaurant. Very reasonable prices. Oh, and heard "Peggy... More

Was not impressed, with the food at all. I had a chicken fajita omelette. The egg were over cooked, the peppers were not cooked all the way. Coffee was not hot or good & got a very sweet mango juice. Today's specials were listed at the door & was told there was no specials today. If ever in San Jose... More

The menu is pretty big, beings they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. But the food was not real good. Except for wonderful, homemade chicken soup. They validate your parking for the lot that is close by. This came in handy for the 3 day business meeting we had across the street. $0 versus $26 is always a win!

Rubbery, greasy, poor excuse for a burger patty. One order was raw. Poor service. Drink was wrong and half full. Big mistake

Food was pretty good, unlike your average diner food as well. We loved our server brittany and the decor of this place was just so cute. Made us feel right at home.

Pulled into Peggy Sues during a long drive. Excellent food, served by theme dressed waitresses. It was fun eating great food here - it was literally like being in the past! The decor and ambience suited this too. ps you just have to visit their shop - its fantastic - something for every budget!

The food used to be good but it was not good today. French Dip was leathery and the hamburger was greasy. The staff was friendly.
