Five different types of tacos, con quest and a bartender who thinks he's in NYC. Just reading the ingredients in each cocktail is worth the experience. Chic interior with huge patio next to Mission San Luis Obispo.

Very nice restaurant near the mission in the downtown area. Sat on heated patio and received great service. We ordered wine and had the 10 taco plate. Loved the shrimp and fish tacos.

We stopped here for drinks on a late Saturday afternoon. Seating outside is fun, busy & casual.....while watching the world stroll by. I asked our waiter for chips & guacamole. He kindly replied they did not have guacamole....but shortly after our drinks arrived so did guacamole & chips!!! The polite waiter said that the kitchen made it for us. What... More

We were visiting SLO for wedding prep for my daughter & fiancé. We popped in for a quick brunch and they did a great job of getting us taken care of in a tight time crunch and we had some of the best breakfast food ever. I had the Avocado+Kale+Pesto Benedict - such a wonderful blending of flavors. Another fun... More

After having a terrible meal at a nearby Mexican restaurant we decided to find some margaritas to easy the nausea. Luna Red has outstanding margaritas and helpful and sweet staff. We ended up eating again and it was a treat under the heaters. Tuna was very good, ambience just right. Settled our indigestion from the first meal.

We had a great dinner on a beautiful evening on the patio beneath the mission. The service staff were all very friendly, and the food choices were very good. So happy we chose this place!

I loved Luna Red! Located next to the historic SLO Mission, nestled in the sunshine next to the bustling sidewalk...I could have been in Spain. We enjoyed bacon wrapped dates, an assortment of tacos which included a winter squash version, and ceviche. Everything was very good. The dinner menu is a bit more robust, especially in you want to have... More

We stopped in for a late lunch on a Sunday. Due to the rain, the patio was closed and the restaurant wasn't very full, which made it great for us. We had a room in the back off tghe patio to ourselves. Drink menu is good and I even requested the bartender to craft me something with vodka and ginger... More

I haven't been inspired to write a restaurant review for well over more than a year, but today's visit to Luna Red has motivated me. We had heard about local flavors here and our tomato farmer sells his tomatoes to this entity, as well as we had been hearing that there were vegan options. So after a trip to a... More
