Stopped here on the way to Morro bay from LA at around 9.30pm and food and service was great for an amazing price! Inside area shuts at 9.30pm but outside they have seating too. Pulled pork is amazing and so are the sweet potato fries 🍟

I know they're a Tri tip BBQ place but I was unprepared for how delish the chocolate shake was. Tried the corn pie for the first time and was pleasantly surprised - it's a tasty combination of cheese and corn in a sort of casserole. The garlic bread is sublime and really decent French fries too. The main event, the... More

Old San Luis BBQ serves up some really delicious (and seriously well priced) BBQ, and all in a cool, industrial, slightly-hipster, student-friendly space. Good fun all round. And, when reflecting on our entire three-week road trip, this is one of the meals (even though it was relaxed, quick and pretty fast foody) that we recall with great affection. Looking forward... My friend and I were on the road, headed to LA and needed something in our tummies. We stumbled upon this place and were completely impressed with their friendly service and awesome food. We went for the tri-tip sliders and fries. Yes. Yes. Yes. It was perfect and really hit the spot. The fries are cut and cooked on site... More

Most people have never had Tri Tip and you need to try it here. Smokey and Delicious, it practically melts in your mouth. Nothing fancy about this place, but they do their food up right. Fries and great and is the corn muffin.

It just might be my favorite salad in town. The Strawberry Fields is just the ticket for a good lunch! Add some tri tip or pulled pork (my favorite ) for some added protein. For you bread lovers, their sandwich comes on a yummy sourdough roll. The corn pie is delightful.

Split the pit plate with my boyfriend, had tri-tip with the cowboy pie and beans all of which was amazing. Also had $1 draft beer to wash it all down. Wonderful setting for a quick and easy lunch.

We are from Texas, so we have a different slant on bbq than they do here, but the tri tip sandwich was pretty good. They do a good job here.

Wholesome food and $1 craft beer deal - this place is hip and chilled out and is good value for money. Good music and relaxing atmosphere. Only complaints were that the food could be hotter (temperature) - it was warm not hot. The restrooms seemed clean but were messy: the bins overflowing with paper towels, and these were scattered about... More
