this place is a bit odd. the food is good. but there always seems to end up being some sort of problem. it is somehow always a nice time and nice food. really. but the decor is urban meets rural strip mall meets college funky....More
This is an average sushi joint, situated in a shopping center. The service is spotty (sometimes good, sometimes not), the interior could use a facelift, but the sushi is more-than-passable. In a pinch for Japanese, worth a try.

We've been to this restaurant each time we've come to SLO. Good proportions, extremely friendly wait staff. Ask for the "happy hour" menu. BOGO sushi rolls.

I love sushi. This restaurant is close enough to home that I can walk. Yet, I have sworn it off, after multiple experiences of feeling like the food was mediocre and the prices excessive. For truly fantastic sushi, try Goshi in downtown SLO.
