WOW! Why haven't I tried this place before? Came here for brunch with a couple of friends. We had a party of 7 so we had our own little area in the back. There is also a parking structure nearby which was very convenient. We tried 4 different bruschettas: salmon and chives, prosciutto and figs, artichoke and sun dried tomatoes,... More

B Street & Vine is centrally located in downtown San Mateo. Great for lunch, particularly if you want to eat light, but well. Great salad selections, good lunch options, and lots of nearby parking.

I enjoyed all the Bruschetta here, so good. Lots of choices. More of a romantic type of place, super dark and they have jazz music at night. I think is better to come during lunch. We also ordered a salad, they only gave you two small slice of avocado. What a bummer! Overall, not bad not bad at all.

I am usually not a salad person but for some reason i decided to try the BBQ chicken salad and i did not regret it. The atmosphere was great and there was live music. Our waiter was friendly and offered great service. I wouldnt mind visiting this place again when I come back to town.

Everything is very good at this restaurant with the exception of the atmosphere, even though it is a casual restaurant. The price couldn't be better. Go there often, especially during the day with friends.

The concept is great. The wine and food are fun and interesting. But the service is just awful, based on one visit at lunch on Saturday. My server couldn't talk about the wine choices (which are quite good). He just wanted to take my order and rush off. I had to wait 15 minutes when I ordered a second wine.... More

Been here a dozen times and never been disappointed. The Bruschetta choices are all good, my personal fav is the Gorgonzola and honey. Always start wit a round of Bruschetta's and then split a panini because that is plenty of food for 2. The wine choices are excellent and they do a nice pour.

My trip to B Street and Vine came out of the need to surprise a friend (who hates both birthdays AND surprises). Another friend made reservations for 8pm that seemed unnecessary when we arrived at 7:50ish and were shown to a table of choosing,( we needed to accommodate an infant), showing the FOH staff did a great job of making... The menu is fine. It has a light menu. There' music on Thursdays and if you go with friends it's a great, fun and satisfying night out. It seems packed most times. Good for lunch, but you miss out on the fun atmosphere and good music!

We had a pleasant light meal with friends at this neighborhood eatery. Our friends live in San Mateo and recommended we eat here. We had bruschetta and salad for our meal and they accommodated my wife's preference for gluten free bread. Everything was reasonably priced and the food was tasty. A local "one person band" topped off the evening playing... More
