I came here with friends who live locally and highly recommended this place - I was not to be disappointed. Bustling and busy with fast service and a great vibe plus we sat in a booth - very exciting. A great range of drinks to choose from but I went for the chocolate milkshake. Fantastic!! Absolutely loved it and recommend... More

These days we have low end burgers (McDonalds) and high end burgers (Counter) and everything in between. Mostly, it's still chopped beef on a bun. So if you're out for good beef (OK, add your cheese and favorite toppings) in a good size cooked properly at a reasonable price, Jack's Prime has it. No fuss, just good basic food.

We have been here a few times and the garlic fries are the best I have had anywhere in the area - yes including Giants stadium or the Gilroy garlic festival. The other favorite are the fried pickles. They fry them halved the long way and plenty of them in an order. Most burgers are nicely appointed with crispy onions... More

$12 seems to be the new normal for better burgers. Jack's has a long list of burgers and salads. But plan on spending at least $20 per diner. Parking is a challenge, the place can be noisy (we were seated in a booth behind a group of teen aged girls and I could not hear anything but squeals), but they... More

Was treated very poorly by a manager named Shawna. Was there for my son's school event unexpectedly - I had gotten home early from work. Because I hadn't expected to come, I hadn't paid as part of the group, so I decided to just order and pay on my own like any other customer, because I thought it would be... More

We are big fans of Jack's in San Bruno and suggest it to pals who are flying out of SFO Or just want a great meal, great service, early bird specials, superb happy hour and breakfast served forever ( so, I exaggerate...) The San Mateo site is the old Lyons...great building...same menu, super service, easy parking...the night we were there... More

I love coming here for their juicy bacon burgers and their banana shakes! It is very family friendly. Parking can be difficult at times especially on a Friday night.

I've been there a couple of times. On this most recent visit, they were out of chicken which was disappointing but had a burger instead and it was really good. One of the great things if you have kids with you is that on Mondays kids eat free for each adult meal purchased. The menu is largely beef or chicken... More

This place came up on our GPS when we were hungry and happened to be going that way. It was a good choice but it is really pricey. A burger and fries is $13.00 or more. The choices are interesting. We liked our Wine Country burger. A salad is $11.00 on the summer special. It was good. The service was... More
