Cafe has wonderful food very reasonably priced. It's mobbed during lunch and worth the wait. Meat and produce are excellent and store is extremely clean. Got carnitas and still hot fresh tortillas for guests and they raved about the quality. Many salsa selections and even a bakery section. Ceviche too! Give it a try... You won't be disappointed.

Excellent selection of goods and produce. Extremely cheap but delicious tortillas. Nice marinated meats. A treasure for those who want to explore Mexican food and cooking.

Bought ceviche, carne asada, pulled pork, salsa, tortillas, cheese and mangos......fed a family of 6 for under $40. Careful to read labels since most of the food has MSG in it. But it's yummy food at a good price. The atmosphere is authentic too!

I shop here frequently. The food is always fresh. Tasty. Quick service. You can watch the food being made. Not much ambience: just some picnic tables set out in front of the counter. Fresh papusas. They have many different meats from the standard carnitas and pollo to lengua. They make burritos tacos tortas. There's always a daily special. Try it!

The produce is always fresh and very reasonably priced. Meat, poultry, fish and seafood, delicatessen amazing value. Prepared food, especially the barbecued chicken and fried fish is delicious. The staff are cheerful and extremely helpful and the atmosphere vibrant and fun.

This edifice -- which previously housed a computer outlet store has been architecturally transformed with a creative finesse to project the city and culture of Mexico. An exceptional delight both from the outside and within. The Food Center offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes, both traditional and eclectic. The prices are reasonable, and you have the choice of take-out... More

I was down there for the Rock N Roll San Jose half marathon and looking for the good old Mexican Vanilla that I use for baking. The people there are wonderful. It is a real community. If the people are there and they have no ride then there is a bus that drives them home with their groceries. We could... More

If you are cooking with Latin menus just come here and save the running around. Plus they offer a lot of fresh made items in produce and the cooked food court. This place has everything from Taco's to loroco. It's an amazing place. Just like a major market in Mexico.
