I've been to quite a few Chinese Restaurants in San Ramon and the surrounding areas. The food was not good here and felt the meat was overcooked. The people working the restaurant could have been friendlier too. My suggestion would be Silver Spoon in Castro Valley. The owner is so sweet and really cares about their customers. The Chinese food... More

I normally go to Uncle Yu's for lunch with clients. The environment is very quiet for a restaurant and the decor is modern and clean. The service is fast and the food is excellent. The menu is large and the prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I and another couple visited Uncke U's in Beautiful downtown Livermore, Ca and I must say, it was a very classy establishment known for their Peking Duck and their huge Wine selection! A little on the pricey side but worth the visit if you like Chinese California Cuisine.

Uncle Yu's has upscale Chinese food which always comes out fresh and flavorful. it is in a nice setting with a not too loud bar where they also have menu service. They serve typical Chinese dishes and specialties. Shrimp entrees are excellent. Have enjoyed having lunch and dinner with family, friends, or with my wife. Larger parties can reserve space... More

We have been dinning here for years, both in the restaurant and for take out. The spicy dishes are the best, very flavorful. If dinning there, service is very good and the wine list is fantastic too.

Unfortunately my daughter and I had the most tasteless Chinese lunch. I'll never go back. Very pricy lunch which is fine if the food is good but our food was very disappointing.

Eating Chinese and white tablecloth service are not ideas that typically go together. And that's what makes Uncle Yu's so special. The restaurant was recommended to me for a business lunch when I was on a trip to San Ramon. The atmosphere was in the direction of fine dining, and the service was quick and formal. The menu included lots... More

Cantonese food is always the same flavors and same combinations. We went out of the box and tried something different. I can't exactly remember what we ordered but it was excellent. Each person ordered something they had not eaten before. It was an awesome dining experience for the five of us. Yes, we will go back. Easy location and plenty... More

Really good Cantonese style food with fast, efficient and friendly service. Decor is a bit eighties chic but that somehow adds to the experience! Easily the best Chinese restaurant in San Ramon.
