Nice ambiance, service and location. Steak Frites very good but the seafood stew lacked flavor and disappointing. Not sure they have a chef or a short order cook. Won’t be back

A return visit to Jane confirms that the kitchen knows how to cook. Lamb chops and mussels were very good and well worth the price paid. A salad was a bit bland, and desserts a bit too too sweet, but these are small quibbles in...More
Wonderful menu. Great atmosphere, fair prices. Definitely California style cuisine. We enjoyed it very much. Also a new location in Goleta.
We always have dinner at Jane when we are visiting Santa Barbara! I had the chicken piccata which is delicious! Served with summer squash and pasta it is hands down my favorite dish at Jane. My husband had the salmon on cedar which was done...More

Fresh, savory food - always top notch - and great environment and service! Don't miss their grilled chicken breast with Anaheim chilies - and their white coconut cake!
We had swordfish / seafood stew and a nice bottle of Cotes du Rhone. Shared a pecan tart and ice cream for pud and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It is a very pleasant restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The service is good.

Walking down State Street and decided this restaurant looked interesting. We were seated immediately and wait staff was very attentive. Fantastic quick service and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere and thought the staff was very friendly.
Jane has two locations, one downtown on State Street and another in Goleta. We have eaten at both and the food is consistent between both. The State Street location is much harder to get in when there is a show at one of the theaters...More
