Joe's is our go to lunchtime restaurant in Santa Barbara. We live many thousands of miles away and get to Santa Barbara every couple of years and Joe's never disappoints. This time 3 good value kids meals, a Greek salad and a bowl of chilli. Great beer choice too.good food, good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

A great old school family Italian restaurant. Although there were lots of couples and smaller groups of blokey blokes, we felt just as a home with our two girls having dinner. A good varied menu to suit all tastes and the pours on the drinks could have been very dangerous had it been date night rather than family nite!

Joe's Cafe is a Santa Barbara tradition and a perfect place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My cup of perfectly seasoned clam chowder was the size of a bowlful, full of clams. My small caesar salad was the perfect side salad. Service was excellent and I appreciated our wait server suggesting the smaller sizes as they were more than ample.

Before heading out on our daily adventures we decided to have a hearty breakfast. The orange juice is fresh, the pancakes were good, French toast was ok, we also ordered a side of fresh fruit-very good. The servers are very friendly and there was no wait, reasonably priced for Santa Barbara.

This was a very average place. Santa Barbara had high food prices in general and this was expensive for hamburger and sand which. My concern was glass jars used for mustard and ketchup and how unsanitary with people sticking knives in - especially the Mustard. Just like us - those knives may have been in the butter cubes (dairy allergies)... More

Prices were about what one would expect for State St in downtown Santa Barbara. Sandwich was good - I wanted to try the pie :( Didn't have enough time. Nice atmosphere. Co-worker liked her salad
