This is a minimalist brewpub: not much food, but great beer and a good amount of outdoor seating, which is nice since they allow dogs outside. If the weather is even decent (which it usually is in Santa Cruz), sit outside to enjoy your beer. The beer is excellent, and they have both "regular" microbrews and seasonal ones. The food... More

Stopped in on s whim. Beers were really good, fresh, also serve $2.00 tacos on Tuesday downstairs. I'm sure it gets hopping on weekends. Fun atmosphere

My boyfriend is the beer consumer in our house. I got a tasting flight; 2 ounces of the 7 regular beers and then one of the seasonal brew. He went straight for the IPA. We ordered the pretzel and the corn dog. The beer is a little light which made me happy; offering more selections for me to finally settle... More

We love tasting beer and the selection here is pretty amazing. We were both impressed that it was organic. I loved all of the beers, but was very impressed with the Lavender IPA. I haven't had anything like it and it has a very unique taste. My husband loved the porter. The vibe here is very relaxed and dog friendly,... More

Beer is by all means of individual taste, but with a tasting flight of 10 different beers, where 1 was good, 1 was ok, and 6 very thin and 2 almost undrinkable. The Lavender IPA was awfull, so do not go there unless you like the very characterstic taste of lavender. The seasonal was great though, but all in all... More

We stopped here on our way from Half Moon Bay to our campground on New Years Eve around 6 pm. Cozy outdoor area with lots of families and their dogs. A few outdoor games for our kids to play. Indoor area was packed with a lively vibe. Home brewed root beer for our kids and a tasty brew for us.... More

This is a destination spot as a good launch pad to explore the West End. There is a beer garden with wooden deck seating to enjoy your brew in the sun. The brew equipment is right in the middle of the scene and you can usually find someone working or brewing. This is an organic operation so nothing is processed... More

We stopped here after a long bike ride and it was a perfect end to a good day. I had a flight so I could try everything- with the Amber Ale being my favorite. We then ate dinner at the West End Tap Kitchen. Both wonderful!
