Ordered half a dozen oysters, calamari fritty as starters and the seafood pasta as main. Getting service took a while. The waiter advized well on oysters and made a nice combo from three different regions. He forgot my starter, but delivered it later and was sincerally appologizing even in between after the event. The calamari not seem to get special... More

We had dinner here last night. The food was good. The restaurant is also a retail seafood shop. Prices are on the high side.

We have visited this wonderful gem 3 times now. Always fabulous! Today having Fusilli Seafood Pasta and Lobster Linguini (after oysters on the half shell). A "must visit".

Had a seafood pasta and a beer at $40 including tip. The food was tasty; service was good. The place is also a seafood market where you can buy fish and shellfish

Was visiting LA for the day and had just enough time for lunch. Caught up with an old friend. Santa Monica was the perfect spot. Excellent food, service, value, ambiance and fun!! Highly recommended!!

It was so good we ate here Saturday and Sunday nights! The restaurant area occupies a small part of the store which mostly sells fresh fish and a variety of salads, beers, wines, and cheeses. So getting a seat at peak times may mean you have to wait. Every starter or main course we tried was good. However, I strongly... More

Great ambiance & service. Many varieties of fresh seafood. The lobster roll was very nice. Great fish & chips. It's not the best I've had, but very good. Enjoy!

The seafood is excellent! Great place that is a fish market as well as a restaurant. Its quite popular among all ages - families, older couples, everything! I highly recommend ordering the appetizer platter and the poke salad! Its a bit pricey - but worth it!

The seafood was prepared perfectly. The portion sizes are fine - not small, but not overly large for the price. Calamari was great with a verry tasty roasted tomato sauce and aoiloi (sp?) Sauce. The crab Louie salad was mainly crab and the sea food pasta had a lot of sea food with a light and fresh tasting white wine... More

Since this is a fish market as well as a restaurant, it was worth looking at their fresh fish for sale. This was the best displayed fish I have ever seen, expensive though, but everything in this town is. The restaurant part is small, but crowded and popular. I just had a sandwich for lunch, and our bill for 4... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
