We were looking for some yogurts to have for breakfast the following morning and were very tired from walking around all day and really didn't feel like making the long trek up to Wholefoods. How glad was I when we stumbled across this little place right bang in the middle of the busiest part of the Third St Promenade. You... More

This place is good for bits and pieces that holidaymakers may have forgotten...travel sized toiletries. They also sell chocolate, crisps, pastries, they have a refrigerated area with yogurts, dairy etc...it's ok for a quick stop for something you need..

Famima is your one spot Convenience store, when you're around the Promenade and you're hungry or thirsty but don't want to have junk food nor have time to sit down at a restaurant. They DO have a dining area in the front though. It's sort of an " Organic food, candy store, liquor store " all in one. Their Sushi... More

Staying in a hotel in a resort area, it can be difficult finding those little things that help your quality of life. Things like bottled water, a bottle of soda, a banana, some cut fresh fruit ... and not have to pay $5 for each of those items through room service. It was great to walk from my hotel and... More

I liked their selection of drinks, snacks and packaged food. I LOVE the white buns that have meat that they serve warm right by the cashier. When you're hungry and on the go, this is the place to get your snack at the Promenade.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
