We stopped in to quench our thirst on an unusually hot October day. Good selection of beers with the bartender offering a "taste" of each one we inquired about. There were 2 people working and each offered enjoyable conversation about the Santa Monica area.

Dropped in here today for a pint before checking in to our hotel. Ordered a pint of Stella and a glass on white wine. Got stung for 14.25 dollars, but I got served regular Miller lite instead of Stella! I drink Stella all the time and knew I had been slipped a Mickey while I wasn't looking. I shan't be... More

Boys....when she's into her 2nd hour of shopping and you're done. Leave her to it....head here. You'll be as happy as can be. Its just off 3rd Promenade on Santa Monica Blvd...she can shop and you can sit here, eat great food, have great draft beers and watch the sport on the big screen TV's. Convinced yet? Friendly staff......seriously it's... More

Stopped for a drink one afternoon. Friendly service - so much so we went back on an evening. The place was busy, both inside & on the patio outside - there was different staff but the same friendly service! Worth a visit if you're in Santa Monica

We went on a Thursday night, so I didn't expect there to be a large crowd by any means, but it was QUIET. Maybe 9 people in the whole place - but the Beatles cover band that was playing made up for it ALL. My boyfriend and I enjoyed watching the few people there dancing and the band was great.... More

To be fair, being in America, I didn't expect British food to be very authentic, but this place does not disappoint at all. Full English (called a "Captain's breakfast" here) includes two eggs, bacon strips, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, Heinz baked beans and fried mash. It was definitely not a bad experience and would definitely go back again when I'm back... More

At 6am this pub was full of Man U fans ready to cheer there adopted football team. With 2 large screens and several smaller screens dotted around the bar it's the perfect location for football fans. We had breakfast here which was lovely. A full English came with crispy bacon as requested, good quality sausages and mushrooms, beans and toast.... More

Came here with some friends to grab a beer and some happy hour apps. The nachos were decent and the happy hour had a great selection of beer. When the server brought my second beer however, there was a hair floating on the top of it. I pointed this out to him, he was very apologetic and came back with... More

We came to watch the dollface dames here on a monday night.. we couldn't resist the call of a free burlesque show.. we left very disappointed.. The drinks were expensive.. however that's from a British point of view.. I have nothing to compare it to in santa monica so it may very well be not so bad.. It is a... More

Came here as an out of towner to watch an Eagles game. The place was packed with birds fans and had a great atmosphere. They have good drink specials and great bar food. We had fresh cut fries and fresh potato chips. Both were excellent.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
