A quaint and quirky bar/ restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Lovely setting, very close to the beachfront. Food was enjoyable but average.

If you are looking for a quick light bite, Bar Pintxo is a good option for tapas, a glass of sangria or Spanish wine and outdoor seating on the front patio (great for people watching and for catching the famous Santa Monica sunsets). Owner Joe sources many of his ingredients from the Santa Monica Farmers Markets.

Having eaten Spanish food for 8 years, we know our tapas and here offered a good representation of these. The selection of Spanish wines on offer was what drew us in, this and the section of sherry. Fun and friendly place - great for family fun and the ability to add another course as and when you need.

Excellent and really extensive choice of Tapas. Love to come here on weekend afternoons for their Tapas, so many choices. Great prices during their happy hour. Try to get a table outside.

My husband and I ate here on a short stay to LA and we're very glad we came across this place. The service was excellent, prompt and friendly and the food was delicious! The manager had the time to stop and chat as we were leaving too which gave a personal touch.

Lovely service from our waitress Amy. However the manager was extremely rude and ruined our experience in the restaurant. Disgusting behaviour from a very rude, arrogant and disrespectful individual who does not deserve the opportunity to run the establishment.

Me and my wife really like pinxtos and tapas från spain. This is a place that really have a touch of spain. A very dedicated and personal reception from the owner. Next time I will try the paella - they looked fantastic. The children also enjoyed.

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
