Best place around here for really excellent lobster meals. This time two of our group had really good to outstanding mussels. One found the pasta good too. The five of us who had 1.5 lb lobster meals were very happy indeed! It was a quiet day with friendly efficient service. The room is clubby and unpretentious. Prices affordable. Highly recommended.

Great food and service We were here for Lunch. Had calamari, good, mixed grill, great. French onion soup good. Service great. Key Lime Pie amazing. We ate at a couple of seafood places rated higher than this one in Sausalito , but by far this was the best food and service. Would recommend and would return.

My wife and I celebrated Thanksgiving at the Seafood Peddler late afternoon. The bartender was a little gruff, but heck, he was working on Thanksgiving. Had a bottle of wine at the bar, and then we sat down to one of the finest seafood dinners we have ever had (and we have had many) The service staff was impeccable and... More

A wet stormy evening and we purposefully wanted to enjoy dinner at the Peddler. Maybe the waiters were unable to get to the restaurant , but the service was poor, atmosphere flat and food was ok-ice cream and soups were very good , Caesar salad too acidic . Sausalito is a wonderful place ,as maybe this restaurant , but on... More

We couldn't have been more pleased with the family lunch/dinner we had here on December 10th. All in our party ate delishoius meals served by the very attentive Manuel. We had calamari-a second order too!, lobster rolls, clams, and the sand dabs. Dessert didn't disappoint either- generous lemon tarts and grown up affogato! The tween/picky eater in our group asked... I'm a local and been frequenting this establishment since it opened. This review is more for the bar area and happy hour menu and service. I've always loved that this place is local friendly and has never disappointed. Friendly staff, best prices in town for their limited happy hour menu. Their happy hour hamburger is a local favorite and the... More

Took family for lunch over Thanksgiving. Nice that they have an elevator since we had grandparent with us. Ordered a variety of items for early afternoon lunch. Clam chowder was big hit with a lot of clams and just the right amount of cream. The crab cakes were tasty but small (my son could have eaten 2 more servings). The... More

We went on Thanksgiving, for an early meal. It was crowded but service was excellent. I had a dozen mixed oysters, which were very fresh, but expensive....about $35. We both had the petrale sole picata, about $26 each. It was tasty, presented on mashed potatoes and beans. The fresh petrale sole , on the menu, was not available. Drinks, at roughly... More

I think we fell victim to location. Although no real view, I guess near the water is nice. Much better views at Cliff House in SF and same price points. 2 medium prawns, 2 oysters and a small condiment cup of crab = 23.00. Ordered an $11 bloody Mary which left little to desire. Went across the street to the... More

We came over for Sunday Brunch on the ferry from San Francisco. Had been here before and had a great experience. The Seafood Peddler is still great! We had excellent seafood and impeccable service! The clam chowder and the lobster bisque were fantastic! Will definitely come back next time we are in Sausalito!
