The best Chinese in Marin. Excellent service in a lovely room. Peking duck is very good with no preordering necessary. Mixture of Cantonese and Mandarin food.

Change is inevitable. After three decades, change of management and chefs is also inevitable. A recent return did not garner the same urge to revisit.

Good quality food and prompt service on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with family. Portions also good. Very tasty. They do not serve coffee.

Based on recommendations from NextDoor, we ordered take-out from Feng Nian. First the good: delivery was fast and and the deliverer was friendly. Now the bad: from our 8 year old on up, we all agreed that the food was not good and we wouldn't ever eat there again. The chicken chow mein was not tasty and the sizzling rice... More

First discovered this restaurant in the 80's, loved the hot-sour soup, and over the years, continued to return simply to relish and devour the hot-sour soup. There were expected disappointments in the years inbetween, either as a result of the chef having been replaced or on leave. The prices are reasonable, and the host/manager/owner not the most cordial but matter... More

So good. The dumplings were awesome and made fresh. The fried duck had some dry pieces, but the breast was juicy and delicious. The General Chow was awesome as well. I wish that they had this on Florida. :(

On our drive out to Sonoma from San Fran, we stopped in the famed town of Sausalito for views of the city and a quick lunch. Fend Nian's Mandarin cuisine lunch special was the perfect meal and the restaurant is easy to find in downtown Sausalito, populated by locals.

Food itself tastes good. I would like to visit again for the food. Price is reasonable as most other Chinese restaurants are. However the service is a little bit hush. Even before I finished my dinner, the waiter took the dishes away. Otherwise it could have been much better.

I've been going to this restaurant for many, many years. It's got a good menu, and the quality of the dishes ranges from good to very good. The service is excellent. It can get packed at lunchtime, but I've never had a problem for dinner.

This restaurant pays attention to details, mainly the ingredients and seasonings in their food. There always seems to be an unexpected but wonderful flavor popping up in the many dishes we enjoy here, from the Walnut prawns which are absolutely the best, a must try, to the minced chicken lettuce wraps with a hint of ginger in the flavor.
