We drove down here for dinner on Saturday night from Sierra City because it was the only restaurant open for miles. It was definitely worth the 40+ mile round trip. The quantity on our to-go order was enough for breakfast the next day. The chili Colorado burrito was delicious as was the carne asada burrito in spite of the fact... More

The dos brothers offer very good, authentic Mexican food and excellent margaritas. The carne asada is highly recommended and the lamb shanks are especially good and not found very often.

We were on a road trip and ready for a good meal. One of the group had a craving for something that wasn't on the menu and, without missing a beat, the meal was prepared. All of our meals were very tasty, well-proportioned and fairly priced. This is a place that we'll stop in again.

Excellent food! We stopped in just to grab a couple tacos and run. We had sit down late lunch. The chile colorado was melt in your mouth.

I was there at 7pm on a Saturday night and the place was packed. The wait wasn't too long and it wasn't 10 minutes from placing my order til I had my food. I had the Carnitas. Very, very good, hot and lots of it. The person next to me raved about her burrito, packed full of chicken. They have... More

Whenever we are here it's always busy, but they get you seated fairly quickly. Service is always fast and friendly! Food is always really good as well. There is a lot of food and I usually do a la carte...but they do have good beans and rice if you want the whole 9 yards.

The stayed the night in Sierraville and ate dinner here. Hans down the best Mexican food I've had in Northern California. The chips and freshly made salsa were delish. Friendly and efficient wait staff.

We stopped in on our way to Truckee and enjoyed a tasty meal here, especially the housemade chips and salsa. Everything was authentic, down to the Spanish sports playing on the TV. Not fancy, just good food.

Without having seen a review we stopped for dinner with friends. Everyone loved what they ordered..a Lalo burrito, the birria, flautas, a tostada and carne asada that looked like a steak. Very helpful and exceptional service tailored to our needs...salsa w/o chile and fresh decaf coffee.

Between 2 of us we had chicken enchiladas, fish tacos, a tamale, rice, beans, and guacamole. Everything was very good, and the guacamole was THE BEST we've ever had - and we're guacamole lovers.
