I was told by a local that this was where the locals go to eat and I know why. It is excellent. I always stop here for lunch and cookies and pastries.

Place has an interesting Danish cafe vibe to it, and display counters filled with fresh treats. We just had aebleskiver (Danish pancake balls with jam and powdered sugar), a must-try treat at any of the cafes in Solvang. Sadly, they only serve whole milk cappuccino which doesn't work for us (and I'd say for many other customers too).

Adorable diner type restaurant. Danish are good - lunch just so-so. Everyone helpful. Quick service. Not expensive

All the bakeries in Solvang have great baked goods...We tried something from all of them! This place has the best hot cross buns for Easter! They are so flavorful and remind me of my childhood growing up in the south side of Chicago in the 70's! You have to try these buns!

We went here for a cup of coffee and to taste a danish made in the states. The coffe was good and so were the danish - almost as good as in Denmark (we are danes). Funny to see that things not sold very much in Denmark aymore can still be achieved here.

Huge assortment of fresh pastries. The cream puffs are croissant like... very light holding tons of whipped cream! Ken had the lemon boat which he loves. We also got some other items to go and a bucket of their butter cookies for the grandkids. Lovely decor. Delightful service. You will love this spot

While the lemon tart wasn't so tasty, the pastries themselves are pretty good. Essentially the same fate as most places in town, but it seems fresher and the cookie selection was better as well. I've tried each place in town now and Danish Mill seems to have the best.

Was quite a selection to Drool over! I asked "which of the sweet rolls were actually danish quote? And the answer was sadly "just the Danish actually." LOL. Still, there were a few baked items I have seen before. It's also a coffee shop with a rather extensive menu.

rude lady with long dark hair and thick makeup made 2 very weak coffee's. we went back in and politely told her and she was obviously not happy about the fact I asked for stronger coffee. she reluctantly put another shot in it but proceeded to talk to another lady in Spanish and made us feel like she was complaining...
