We read great reviews about this restaurant, and were not let down! It's very small...a couple tables downstairs and not many more upstairs, but the food is great! We started off downstairs then were lucky enough to move to an empty table upstairs for more privacy for the remainder of our dinner. We brought in a bottle of wine (no... More

Portions are way too big. The food was ok. The place is quaint you can sit in the roof and have dinner. Probably better as a lunch bite

I love the fried chicken plate. Value and portions are worth the trip. Family owned and run, mother and son were working hard during my visit.

We were lucky to get a table & not wait for dinner (we were there by 5 though). Much easier to get a table if there are no more than 3-4 people. Everything was so great; servers, chefs, food & atmosphere. Restaurant in a converted house; so perfect. Awesome desserts too!

We've rented a cabin for ski season only a mile or so away for year, but never knew about this charming place. It is small - A couple of tables downstairs and a few more upstairs. No alcohol is served, but you can BYOB. West Shore Market is nearby if you forget. Bring your own glasses too if you'd rather... More

Shrimp-stuffed shrimp!! Need I say more?! Savor the down-home deliciousness of a "home-cooked" meal here in a casual, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. It's quietly the tastiest find for my palate in all of Lake Tahoe, and thus, is close to the center of my culinary heart. I almost hate to share this...but, the World must know! It's an excellent dinner... More

When we were having breakfast in our B&B, some fellow travelers told us about the nice time they had the prior evening, dining at a cozy little family run restaurant called Spoon. They said it was on a side street right across the highway from our B&B. Their recommendation convinced us to try it that evening. It was dark when... More

3 of us (1 a 4 year old) arrived with no prior booking. We were made very welcome in this tiny restaurant. The Salmon & Meatballs were delicious and although there's no alcohol on the menu I was able to run across the road for a bottle of IPA to have with dinner. We will definitely be back and only... Spoon serves delicious and surprisingly affordable dinners. It is a small place with limited indoor seating and a small patio. We got take-out several times. Every menu item we tried was delicious. They have delicious fried chicken, turkey dinner, meatballs, etc, etc. The gravy on the potatoes is off the charts. They also have soft serve ice cream and fresh... More

Had a great dinner at Spoon, we had the stuffed shrimp - stuffed with shrimp, and the chicken parmigiana. Shrimp was delicious and the chicken parm included a good piece of chicken that was not over fried.
