I have breakfast and dinner here occasionally and the food is usually fantastic. This morning however, the kitchen must have been having a bad day because my breakfast was hardly edible. However, the service and helpfulness of Waldo and Alfredo more than made up for it. Waldo spoke with the manager and they didn't charge me for anything. He even... More

Been to the restaurant at South Coast many times, and it never disappoints. Great menu, delicious wine and a professional staff. Never had something at the restaurant or winery that wasn't delicious. And a superb romantic getaway, too.

Great quality food at reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. We also were seated in front of a window to watch the sunset as we enjoyed our pre-dinner cocktail. Good selection of wines! Great service.

We have eaten there for years, but the last two times the food was not good and the service was terrible. We had to flag down the bus boy to find our waiter so we could order. The restaurant was not busy so we don't understand what the waiter was doing and why it took so long to get our... More

Had dinner with clients here. The food was outstanding. In California everything seems to have to be different and fancy. Not my style but it was good. Interesting calamari though try it.

Do not miss this gem! Food for happy hour is very resonably priced. Wines are a value also. We went back 2 nights in a row!!

Stopped in to meet some friends for breakfast. He bananas foster pancake is absolutely incredible. Seemed a bit pricy for one pancake but it was definitely worth it and you won't go away hungry. We have been here a couple times in the past and always enjoyed our visits.

Arriving at the Resturant I was in awe with its beauty, the setting and our private dining room were spectacular. After waiting 30 minutes for the 1 waiter that had been allocated to our table of 23 to take our drink order it continually went down hill from here. On 2 occasions we have to leave the room to ask... More

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the South Coast Winery & Spa. We walked to the restaurant for dinner, and there was live music being played on a guitar with a singer, who did an amazing job with some Beatles tunes. We ate dinner and the food was very good, albeit a little pricey. The server... More

We were there today, on a weekday for breakfast. Six of us. Brought out the food a bit at a time. All the food was either luke warm, or cool. The ham was decent tasting, but cold. The chiliquiles were like Nachos I was told. The pancakes were good! The young man, serving us water and coffee was great!! The... More
