Best place ever!! Warm and friendly, fantastic food (grilled artichokes are the best!). Come here often and always have a fantastic meal! Great wine list also. Lovely ambiance.

McPhee's is "off the beaten path" but well worth a visit for an excellent meal. The menu offers good variety and the service is friendly and excellent. To accompany the several good choices Mama's Garlic Bread is a not-to-be-missed unique treat.

The menu is a bit expensive. The service was attentive with keeping us stocked with plenty of bread. We shared plates again.

I absolutely adore McPhees! I met Ian back in 1996 while looking for a caterer for our wedding at the arbor inn in templeton. He's a wonderful person and an amazing chef. Our wedding was perfect and the food was appreciated by all. I had...More

The halibet and rack of lamb were great! Been in Paso Robles 3 days dinner twice. Enjoyed visiting with Frank the bartender over pizza the 1st night.

Wow. I usually avoid ordering pork because preparations are not always interesting but this was the best pork chop I've ever had. McPhee's is utterly unpretentious but delivers a first rate meal with warm and welcoming service. Everyone at our table had the pork chop,...More

Food and service excellent - - - we had not been to McPhee's for a while and after dinner this weekend we perhaps wondered why. Our group of 13 had a variety of meals, but the scallop tostada was a particular favorite - - really...More

Our first time dining here. My husband had a huge pork chop which was very tender. I had the Jidori chicken which was also excellent. Wine list and service were also very good. We will definitely dine here again next time we are in the...More

... there is so much more! Ok, here is the bottom line. The burgers are great at this understated small town Main Street place. Trust me this is a place locals go to. Walking in, a local regular patron recommended the tempura shrimp salad which...More

Nicely prepared meals with great service. I went there with a group of friends and it was busy but still quiet enough so we could all hear each other talk. The wait staff came by frequently enough to be helpful but not so much that...More

Yes there is and unfortunately its one of the highest out there. If I remember (and I could be wrong) its about $20. Better to just go and have their wine. Their house wines are very good.

I've lived in Templeton since I was 11 years old... Back when it was a po-dunk farm town. It's definitely lost that vibe and become more of a yupee feel, which I hate, but unfortunately it's the way things go when you live... More
