Some people rave about this place and I have nothing bad to say about the drinks but my fish dish was inedible and the server couldn't care less.

A close friend took us to this nice restaurant in Tiburon, a picturesque town that overlooks the Bay. It was a Sunday and the place was bustling with diners. We sat by a window overlooking the waters---- which added to the charm. Had it not been so windy, we would have sat outdoors on the patio. The food was impeccable... More

On the wharf at the Ferry Terminal. OK Mexican. Chicken enchiladas are good. I like the chips and guacamole, though it is a bit spicy and should be complemented by a refreshing drink. Try the black beans and maybe mix with some rice. Ask for extra sour cream. For dessert maybe flan? Some patio seating and Bay views.

Visited Tiburon on the fag end of my trip to the Bay area. quaint little town with a very upmarket vibe. Strolled into Gauymas restaurant. This restaurant has the best views on the water. The weather was cold but i braved the winds to be in the deck patio. Very nice food. Had the carne asada and chipotle glazed prawns.... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this location. We were staying at the Lodge and it was within walking distance and very good!

I hosted a casual reunion with some former classmates who have never been to the SF Bay Area, so it was imperative that the chips fall in the right places. Guaymas went out of their way to turn the lunch date into a party. The hostess, bless her heart, thought the available table for our big group was stuck in... More

This place used to have good food until it became corporate owned. I ordered chicken enchiladas which were just okay. My husband ordered the tamales, which were horrible! I'm sure the food would have been better if we had lots of margaritas but unfortunately, we just ordered ice tea. Our server was great, the view was fantastic. The chips and... More

The place is nice. For an european is more like a pub/restaurant mix. Mexican food is good servers are nice to you but prices a bit spicy. I did enjoy some Mexican food and will go again during my stay in Tiburon.

After a day on Angel Island we had a nice dinner and drinks. The food was good, service was good and the outdoor seating was nice on a warm summer day. However, nothing about the experience was memorable. Good, safe, tasty Mexican food.

Advertising half the price happy hour is a fraud since you have to stay inside and sitting on a high chair even if you are handicapped is not a starter. Bad mood faces completes the picture. Some of my friends ate and they said it was OK.

Voted one of the 21 Best Mexican Restaurants in American, by Thrillist, Guaymas Restaurant is positioned after the original City of Guaymas in Mexico. Guaymas, Mexico is a fishing village on the Sea of Cortez. There, the fishermen journey out each morning for the Camarones Gigantes, the large shrimp, which have brought their town its international reputation. Guaymas Restaurant upholds the authentic, fresh cuisine of Mexico home to America. Guaymas is not just a Mexican restaurant, it is an authentic "south of the border" experience. The menu, inspired by the traditional Mexican foods of celebration, focuses on authentic Mexican cuisine made with farm-to-table ingredients, duplicating the flavors of the small coastal fishing village for which it is named. The seafood featured, includes grilled giant shrimp and fresh fish selections. Also featured are grilled meats and fowl, classic traditional Mexican favorites, housemade tortillas and tamales, fresh salsas and guacamole, and many other regional dishes not typically seen on this side of the border. To compliment the menu, the bar at Guaymas offers an extensive list of margaritas, tequilas, beers, wines and agua frescas, which are as authentic as its food. Guaymas offers the best of the authentic, fresh cooking of Mexico's colorful culinary heritage. Our interiors also offer an authentic environment featuring white stucco walls, exposed wood beam ceilings and a bustling exhibition kitchen. Colorful paper hangings and woven upholstery add a festive touch. There is also extensive use of outdoor seating. In addition to a full bar, banquet and catering services are also available
