Have passed this restaurant for years, and finally stopped in. What a great restaurant. The decore is classic, and sets the tone. The bartender knows how to pour a drink. The crowd tends to be mature, but makes sense that with age comes wisdom, and...More

It is famous for steak but I tried cheesecake and it was the best one ever I had. Staffs are friendly. The place is full of the old but I gonna visit and try steak next time.

It's a dim lit restaurant, it has an older crowd. The food is excellent, the prime rib is one of the best in the South Bay! The drinks are great and they don't skimp on the alcohol! I highly recommend this San Franciscan for a...More

Look, I have been coming here for years; not regularly but a countless number of times. I gave it a five star because if you are comfortable with that "Lounge Lizard" environment and like that old school steakhouse food and service, The San Franciscan deserves...More

Good service. Don't miss the filet mignon. Salads are the bomb. Generous spirits, weak wine list. Try the pasta, eggplant parm (off menu) and fried clams if you are not in the mood for red meat.

We came here after friends spoke highly of this hidden Torrance gem. As decades long residents of the South Bay we've passed this eatery hundreds of times without a thought until a Wednesday afternoon we planned our adventure. The parking is located in back entering...More

Once again this restaurant met our expectations. We always try and sit in the bar area. The old time ambiance makes the place. The salad was fresh, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and our waitress Jennifer was wonderful.

I use the room for my Parents 50th Anniversary dinner and we had 30. There was room for one more table so 40 should be fine.
