I am local to Humboldt County but had never tried the Lighthouse Grill until recently. Great food at a decent price, the salad I had there was honestly some of the best salad in the county... and the mashed potato waffle cones are GREAT! A fun twist on some classic foods. Only downside is it can be packed on a... More

Don't be fooled by the outward appearance of this restaurant! Though seating is limited, the casual atmosphere is delightful and great for a family dinner. All meals are freshly prepared so yes, you have to wait for it, and yes, it's worth it! Our daughter loved their milkshakes so much that she had to have another one as we left... More

Interesting menu, food was good. I had a mashed potato cone which was great. The Crab Melt was the highlight of the visit. We liked our experience here.

We live nearby and go here for lunch or a light dinner. Very nice, attentive staff and food is very good. I often go for the burger because I know I like them here, but always look at the specials especially if there is a fresh fish option. On a (rare?) warm sunny day, we sit outside but generally sit... Upon reading all the great reviews, we were dying to try this place. I had a craving for fish and chips. The place was a bit busy but the wait wasn't very long. Our piping hot fish and chips were delivered to our table. They looked a little greasy and once they cooled enough that we could sink our teeth... More

My husband and I had supper here while in town for a kayak symposium. My husband had the nutburger and I had the barbecued tofu, vegetarian chili and mashed potatoes with veggie gravy. The root beer on tap and the house red were quite good. There was live music (which I admit I typically find intrusive), but this was quite... More

The Lighthouse Grill has deservedly become a "go to" destination in Trinidad. Food is good, fresh and local. Patio seating in the warmer months is delightful - great place for lunch or dinner. We are local and eat at the Lighthouse Grill frequently. Check their menu-board for specials (e.g., salmon melt sandwich is terrific).

We tried the organic ice cream & it was simply divine! We also had the clam chowder - excellent. Busy place - popular with the locals & I understand why.

What a toss up - get the nut burger or the mashed potatoes in an ice cream cone? Whew - just go twice and get one each time. Wonderful service, local family, unique items. Save room for ice cream!
