I always stop in Smokey's when we come through Truckee on trips between Utah & California. It's always a highlight of our trips and we LOVE it. Long live Smokey's! 😀

No food comments, we only stopped in for a drink. Relatively good selection of beers, some craft. Outdoor seating was adequate. Hostess was accommodating, and didn't rush us even though she was trying to close early that afternoon. Very personable.

Dinner last night in smokeys kitchen. Burgers and ribs. Burgers not properly cooked. Ribs nice enough but expensive ($34). Fries and onion rings over cooked. A family of mice on the outside deck running around! Would not recommend to anyone.
