We come here about once a month for a quick, delicious meal. You should know this is upscale fast food. But the flavors are sooooo good, some of the best teriyaki ever. And portions are very big - big enough for 2 people to share an entree, definitely. Staff are friendly, restaurant is clean. There often seem to be police... More

A coworker and I went here for lunch. I ordered the seafood combo and I was blown away by the amount of food for around $10. 3 shrimp, 2 fish fillets, a ton of chicken, steam cabbage, rice and pasta salad. It was really good.

Sure, it's in a strip mall, and it;s definitely not Hawaii - but the taste is authentic and the service excellent. Dropping by on our way home we found the menu inclusive and the aromas from the grill encouraging. Service was good, especially given the meals are prepared after you order, not before. The reality is that Hawaiian food always... More

After a long day on a recent business trip, I stopped at Aloha Hawaiian BBQ as it was near a movie theater I attended. I had the Hawaiian BBQ plate; it was just okay, nothing special. The meat was just a little on the tough side. The best part of the meal was the macaroni salad. From the amount of... More

Always busy with nearby workers, the plate lunches have enough leftovers for another mini meal. The chicken katsu with special sauce is a favorite, and even the steamed cabbage that comes with it is good. Add in the mac salad and rice and you have your days supply of carbs, but it's worth it!

Hawaiian-style take-out (or “plate lunch”) restaurants have become increasingly popular on the West Coast, particularly in Southern California. Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is a small (3-unit) chain located in central Orange County. The Tustin location can be found in The District shopping center near the Target store. The menu features such Hawaiian favorites as combo plates (i.e., plate lunches), Hawaiian-style noodle... More

Loved the food, huge portions Very good service and we will definitely come back! The only negative is that the ice machine wasn't working and the worker came out of the back, reached into a cupboard under the drink dispenser and used what looked to be a chrome table leg to jam up there to dislodge the ice..didn't look too... The proprietors promptly greet you as you enter the place with a smile. The amount of food given is humongous, and served very quickly. So if pressed for time, and in a hurry, this is definitely the place to go. You can't beat it for the price and quality also. I was tied up waiting for someone who's flight got... More
