We were visiting family and stopped by to order lunch to take back to the house. We ordered a variety of items for everyone from fish tacos to shrimp tacos to steak street tacos and a steak burrito. All were fresh and very good. The salsa bar has a good variety of flavorful salsas, limes, carrots and peppers. There is... More

We always come here for the fish taco "Especial". It's a little more than the standard taco they offer but well worth it. They add a white sauce (not tartar) and guacamole. If you get the combo, it comes with either pinto beans (refried) or you can also get black beans. And they give you a generous amount of chips.... More

It wouldn't be Tuesday without Rubio's beer battered original fish tacos at Rubio's. On Tuesdays they have a "Taco Tuesday" special with the original fish tacos at $1.50 which is the best bargain in town. The Tustin location in the Tustin Marketplace as plenty of outdoor seating around a fountain. Perfect for the warm summer nights.

I ordered the ancho shrimp burrito without rice or beans. Tortilla chips came on the side, and my soft drink was free with the burrito. Nice. The cashier was very friendly and smiley and greeted me like Rubio's really wanted me to be there. I filled a few little plastic cups with a wide variety of salsa, including some hot... More

You simply cannot beat Rubios $1.50 fish tacos on Tuesdays after 2:30. Typically, these fish tacos cost $3.00. I go here almost every Tuesday to get my fix. Fresh salsa bar and great chips are a nice perk. My fiance and I can get out with six fish tacos for under $10. My only complaint is that the portion of... More

The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
