Cute little shop that is well stocked and well staffed. The food is fresh and reasonable - the staff is friendly and efficient. I'll be back again for lunch and dinner.

I walked in and wanted to try everything. I finally settled on a pastrami on a sour dough roll with everything on it. It was too much for me and I finished it by not eating the bread. Next time i will get rye. Also, the potato salad is good. A little expensive for a sandwich!

Genova's has been a staple in Walnut Creek for as long as I can remember. Walk through the doors and be transported to Italy. Everything you want in a deli: great sandwiches, choices but plan to take home ravioli & sauce for dinner! So many great choices.

I've had lunch here on a couple of occasions and am glad that I don't live closer. Why? Because I'd be as big as a house if I did. It's an old fashioned Italian deli with salami and other cured meats hanging from the ceiling. There aren't many of these left. Even in San Francisco. If you appreciate prosciutto sandwiches... You take a number in this deli. When it was our turn the server was rude and pushy reminded me of soup nazi in Seinfelt. There was no prices or description on deli items and on any questions the server was hostile. I thought of walking out and I wish I had. The deli salad was so terrible that I... More

Family owned Delicatessen with a few locations in the area. I probably would not suggest this place for a sit in dining but if you are in the area and are planning on getting decent fresh deli or some warm to go dishes I suggest you stop by this place. Better option than Safeway or Trader's Joe and much cheaper... More

Been going to Genova's for twenty years whenever I'm in Walnut Creek, and it never disappoints me. The sandwiches are to die for. Pick your style of roll, pick your meat (so many to chose from), pick your extras, and enjoy.

If you are an avid Italian connoisseur of excellent eats, this is the place for your taste buds! Everything from marinated olives, fine cheese, to lasagna for your dinner party. Little Italy right in the heart of Walnut Creek.
