We love to come to Wimpy's. The serve a great breakfast and we love their burgers and shakes. Just like old times and a great view of the river.

A local told us to try Wimpy's for breakfast. It was the great "Local Place!" The waitresses were just lovely - friendly and fun and great service The food was very good! We had breakfast the first day - and LOTS of coffee (which was very good.) My honey had the Breakfast Burrito, and I had the Pancake Sandwich. The... More

Definitely needs some up dating, but the food is good. The Chicken Fried Steak is a favorite of mine.

My daughter and I went to Wimpy's for Mothers Day. Of course we knew it would be very busy, so we were prepared to not be in a hurry and enjoy the experience. Everyone in the place was going full speed the entire time we were there. The food was excellent, and so many people checked on us, we were... More

I haven't been here since I left California over 20 years ago, and this place is still delta funky. Perfect place to just sit and watch the river go by. Cold beer, decent food, I had a patty melt, by friend had a burger. I can't think of a better place to have a kick back lunch on a warm... More

I had scrambled eggs with hash browns and bacon. The bacon was high-quality, and perfect. The coffee is weak and tasteless here which pretty much spoiled the experience. They have a TV on in the room we were in. It was tuned to some noisey morning show. It was bothersome. The second day we ate there turned out to be... More

We love coming for breakfast on a quiet weekend morning. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service attentive. The portions are filling and the view of the river is relaxing. The Chili Cheese Omelette is my favorite and this is one of the few places you can get a Monte Christo sandwich. You can also visit by... More

Went there Last Sunday night and what a wonderful meal. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the Catfish. Our friends had the Spaghetti and the other had the Halibut Scampi. The atmosphere is a little funky but the food is outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone. the prices are reasonable also.

16 of us paddled/launched from Wimpy's Marina on New Year's Day. They only charge $5 and have access to launch directly into the Mokelumne River. After several hours of paddling we were hungry! They sat our entire group without reservations and even split the check for us. Our waitress was awesome, friendly and never missed a beat. The food was... More
