Located in a narrow store front on Main Street, this seems to be a favorite of locals. Had shrimp fajitas. Well cooked. Good flavor. Pinto beans were flavorable. Onions and peppers either the shrimp tasty. A bit noisy, but that matched the enthusiasm of the diners. Broad menu. Beer available. I would go again.

The La Perla Del Pacifico is a superb spot for tasty Mexican inspired seafood. I started with a shrimp and octopus cocktail that was very fresh and had excellent flavor. The main course was a house special dish that contained shrimp, octopus, scallops, and mussels. Wow! The service was very good and the beer was cold.

Based on reviews from another site, we stopped here for dinner on the way from Pinnacles to Santa Cruz. The restaurant is easy to overlook from the street, just a storefront wide, but pleasant and informal inside (with two televisions going). Both my son and I had the Camal de Mariscos, a cast iron plate with a huge quantity of... More

We went here based on reviews from another site. The restaurant has mostly seafood on the menu. This is probably why the price was a bit more than I expected. I had the enchilada plate and was not overwhelmed with the flavor fo the sauce. My wife had the childrens grilled fish plate and she liked the flavor of the... More

We have been to this little, unassuming spot several times and the food has always been tasty, the prices are really modest, the service very nice and the place is really clean. But today I had the camarones enchiladas with the absolute best red sauce I have ever eaten. It brought me way back to an enchilada sauce I had... More

It's a little, very authentic Mexican restaurant that specializes in seafood. It was hard to narrow down the choices, but we both ordered garlic prawns (because, at the end of the day, you don't want to be the one who did NOT order loads of garlic!). Delish! They were served piping hot with rice, beans, a little salad, fries and... More

When we arrived here I wasn't feeling that hungry. We ordered Cornish game hen, ceviche app, a carne asada taco and chicken enchiladas. Everything was wonderful. I ended up eating almost all of the enchiladas. We left with a bit of rice and some refried beans. I particularly enjoyed the homemade enchilada sauce. Not too spicy, not too sour. Just... More

This review is for our take out order. The staff is very friendly and attentive - my wife shared a "we're both pregnant" moment with hostess. The seafood (particularly the tilapia and Garlic butter shrimp) and horchata were all excellent. The Chile relleno was great. The meat dishes were tasty but didn't withstand the drive as well as the seafood.... More

I read about LPDP in the Sentinel, what a trove of home cooked Mexican food. Excellent! They certainly set a high standard for all Mexican restaurants in this county. The mole is the best I have tasted in a long time; it was reminiscent to my abuela's recipe from Zacatecas, Mexico. The rice, the beans and the chile rellenos are... More

We have been coming here since we moved to the area 15 years ago and love it. Where else on the pennisula can you have a dozen gulf oysters and 2 beers for less than $20? Top three dishes that we love in no certain order: shrimp diablo, pork chops, Whole snapper. There is plenty of public parking behind the... More
