I recently visited the place for drinks and dinner but was quite shocked as the Lauren at the entrance was quite rude and arrogant. She said there is a private event going on and I can't enter without reservations. I said even if I want...More

I go here every year for lunch and sometimes brunch when in town for business. I recommend that you go at noonish and be sure to check out the great wine list. If here for brunch, you must get the avocado bowl.

Chateau Marmont, with its rumored history as the hideaway of movie stars, provides a cozy backdrop for a drink at the five stool bar or at a table in the parlor. But you will pay a hefty price for the atmosphere. Two cocktails and a...More

Dinner with my family early evening in the garden. This place stands apart from all other places we have dined. The ambience, the lush garden, the waiters, the food. It was all special and memorable. Drinks in the bar afterwards was equally amazing. The atmosphere...More

I didn't quite know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! This a unique place. The restaurant/dining areas are both very casual with sofa's and tables but also less casual with regular dining room tables. I am sure that there are very fancy dining areas...More

Does Chateau Marmont Restaurant have a dress code? How should one (female) dress for lunch?

Dress to impress! Diners at lunch were wearing smart casual clothes and in the evening, smarter but still casual. A great outfit would not be out of place but not required.
