What can I say? It was a nice evening and I got a table on the street. Didn't see any stars, which was fine. The service was great (thanks Portia), the food was excellent (hanger steak, thank you) and the price was fair. The drinks were a bit short, but overall a very good choice!

Coming to sunny and warm LA from Minnesota in early October - it was a joy to sit outside under an awning for lunch. We had the seared ahi tuna salad and a salad that had grilled steak. Both salads were so very fresh and the portions were huge. Both the tuna and the steak were very tasty and the... More

This week, we returned to Le Petit Four, having enjoyed a dinner there a few months ago. This restaurant has a lot going for it - easy, free parking in back, excellent location on Sunset, great food, fair prices and good service. If you like to sit outside and watch the Ferraris, Lambos and Rolls-Royces go by, this is the... More

A place I always go to when I go to LA. The food is always good quality, whether fish or a steak or dessert. I've always found the service very friendly - I never go back to places where it isn't. Le petit four is very good value, especially given where it is located in the heart of the sunset... More

We visited the restaurant recently on our trip to LA. We were greeted warmly and were sat at our table outside. The atmosphere was very buzzy which we liked. However, the tables were very close together, closer than they should be. It was almost like the two of us had been joined by a party of 4 next to us!!... More

We are regulars at Le Petit Four. Dining on the patio is the quintessential LA experience. Great mix of guests, all ages and types. The menu is very extensive: I am partial to the branzino and the ricotta gnocchi. Be sure to check out the dessert tray. Alex the owner is so welcoming. The service is great from the reception... My friend who lives in LA bought me here to have dinner. The food was ok and service was ok also. Its the french style restaurant where the tables and chairs are so close to each other it has no privacy at all. There were heaters outside for those who might get chilly. Its definitely a place for people watching... More

Great Italian restaurant in a good location on sunset. Was pretty busy when we arrived but didn't have to wait for a table. Pasta was very good as well as attentive staff and friendly manager.

I really don't know how to start. We were four couples out to have fun on Saturday night. We asked for a table for 8, and within a short time the hostess accommodated us. After ordering drinks and appetizers the waitress apologize for being late with the drinks and she said the barman was slow. When we ordered the second... More

Hello Uri, When you arrived at the restaurant, we didn’t have a table for 8 available and we had to bring a new table, on a busy Saturday night, to accommodate your party. Yes, may be, you had to wait for your drinks. It is unfortunate that at 65 years old, you do not recognize when you are rude to... More

As before, wasn't going to eat here but glad we did. Good outside seat so we could watch world go by. Both had pasta (hubby seafood which he highly recommends, mine plain tomato and basil) and I have to say this is the best pasta we have had. The taste was lovely and the French bread with it was unusual... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
