My sister suggest this deli over Canters. WE went and had the traditional pastrami on rye with a side of potato salad. It was a terrific sandwich. I wish I did not have to run off to the airport or I would have stayed for desert.

We stopped in for lunch. It wasn't crowded and we got a table right away. The chicken soup was delicious, the roast beef sandwich on sourdough was exceptional! The bread itself was worth the trip to this restaurant. The Roastbeef might have been the best Roastbeef I've ever tasted.

My food is always wonderful here! It's a must to stop here while I'm in LA. You can dine in or order to go.

This is really the best deli I've been to anywhere. There are a couple of signature things that I look at in a deli ... one is whether their matzo ball soup is both real chicken broth and has a tender matzo ball, and the other is whether or not they have more than one kind of smoked fish available.... The old Deli and Restaurant on Sunset has for decades made fantastic sandwiches, which I had the pleasure to experience first time more than 30 years ago. I never go to LA without visiting Greenblatt´s and have a Reuben-Sandwich. Maybe you can find a better one somewhere in the world, but even I have tried in many places, Greenblatt´s is... More

While on a Food Tour of Hollywood we stopped at Greenblatt's for Pastrami and Cole Slaw. This was the best pastrami that I have tasted, very lean. The cole slaw was good too.

So Carnegie Deli has died and gone to Deli Heaven; our condolences to New Yorkers. Meantime, the corned beef and pastrami sandwich has been resurrected in Los Angeles via Greenblatts. First let me tell you about the rye bread, If you've never tasted fresh rye bread, you are in for a serious treat. Then pile on the corned beef (extra... More

Been getting take out food from Greenblatt's for over 35 years.Best hot pastrami sandwich in town! Used to have a caviar cooler but I guess those were the old days. Still great place to grab a bite and also to get a cooked turkey for the holidays!

Best pastrami I have ever eaten!! So lean and flavor full. Also good pickles and Cole slaw. Interestingly they also have an extensive wine collection.

Greenblatt has a long, long story and we visited the place first time in 1983, but we still love it and couldn´t dream of visiting LA without haven´t been at least one time at the restaurant. Signature is the sandwiches, which are hard to find better anywhere else, but you can enjoy many other dishes from the menu. Wines to... More
