This Cafe was on the path I chose for my walk up the hill. After an hour walking, I treated myself to the Lemon Pound Cake once a week. Guilty pleasure!!! They have great coffee also and a casual atmosphere that is inviting.

Wait in line to order, then you get a number, then you wait for a table and then, finally you kick back and wait for the food to arrive. Patience is a virtue here. We ordered two caesarsallads, obviously with a very vegan touch. Lettuce and more lettuce, no chicken, no dressing, a little cheese, a few crackers, that was... More

Great place. Huge selection of teas, most items on the menu are organic. Sandwiches can be ordered in half portions, which is a great option. Seating both inside and outside. This place seems to be busy at all times, you may have to wait for a table.

Impressively busy, well presented food, solid service but… far too much bread and cold poached eggs. Great coffee though!

If you love cold coffee then try the cold Spanish granita. It's the best. Also, tried many different salads here and they are all amazing.

Breakfast at Urth makes you feel at home! The small patio, always crowded but never chaotic, tasty and giant muffins, coffee and cappuccino are a daily cuddle!

Love absolutely everything about Urth Caffe, they have several locations too, my favorite is the one on Melrose always see celebs too if you like that sort of thing. You have to get the Spanish granita, best cold coffee I've ever had.

Excellent everything. Beware and read all the signage on the street if you want to park in the neighborhood. It's a little deceptive. WH is definitely making money on out of towners. Tea was excellent, but the $58 accompanying ticket was not a positive bonus.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
