When first seeing this place, one expects s small Chinese restaurant. SURPRISE. It goes back s long ways. You are met by a good fish tank and beer & wine bar with lits of bottles showing. The decor is many silver ball chandeliers and schools...More

I visit 1 -2 times per month. I can't stay away from the twice cooked tofu! Addictive. The staff is friendly and parking is tight, but if you are in the area; treat yourself.

I am THE loyal customer. I have followed the owner since she owned Little Sichuan in San Mateo. Then she moved to Millbrae and opened up Classic Sichuan. Then she moved again and now is at Fey in West Menlo Park. The lady knows how...More

It was a good sign that I was the only non Chinese patron at the family style restaurant. The menu was extensive, the food good and the service pretty decent. It's not fancy and it should be noted that the decor does not add to...More

I like getting take-out from this spot near Palo Alto. It seems quite authentic to me in the atmosphere and many of the dishes. Last time I got some pot stickers that I did not like at all. Not crispy and the sauce was insipid....More

The restaurant seemed dated. Service was poor, very unfriendly. I also thought food quality was poor, in my opinion. I had sweet and sour chicken it was mostly batter and the chicken was dry, seemed old.

Go for the food, not the ambiance. This joint needs a makeover. The chairs were old and worn. The lighting looked as if it had been bought, at a discount, from a bankrupt disco. There were fake, somewhat dusty plants everywhere and the list goes...More

I had a hunkering for some Hot an Sour soup and visited Fey for lunch as their soup of the day was what I was craving for. The lunch includes soup and a entree with rice or fried rice or noodles. My friend ordered the...More

Description
Fey Restaurant is the heart and gem of it's owners, James and Han Ying. Fey, an acronym of it's well known Chinese name Fu En Yuan, has existed for more than 20 years in the Bay Area. Their reputation for purely authentic and taste bud popping Sichuan and Northern Chinese food is impeccable and a definite must try. Come in for your favorite luncheon special or even have a party in our beautiful and elegant VIP room (advanced bookings please!). We will also be bringing you a new specialty, Chinese Hotpot (Fey style of course!). Instead of sharing a large boiling pot with people around you, you will have the luxury of your own. Come on in and experience Chinese food with style. You won't regret it.
