I work locally and found this restaurant about 8 months ago and now I frequent it often. The inside is a bit loud, but the patio is wonderful! The sushi choices are very good and the price is reasonable. The sashimi is also fantastic as are most of the appetizers. The only disappointment, which is totally taste opinion only is-... More

We were greeted as we entered the door, we were seated quickly and given menus with a lengthy variety of sushi choices. Our orders were not only delicious but the presentation was creative. We had cold sake and offered it to the sushi chefs... they were all smiles, as the rest of the staff. Including the Owner that came to... More

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. First it took us a very long time to get seated, when asked the owner if someone was going to help us get seated he sounded offended. We were sited in the patio. We order our dinner and the waitress took the order wrong. Then all of a sudden we started getting SMOKE from someone who was smoking... More

I have eaten at a lot of different sushi restaurants over the years, and I have to say, the quality and selection of the sushi at Sushi Planet ranks right up at the top of my list. It was nice to see "different" items on the menu that are not typical of most sushi restaurants. We tried the Super Bowl... More

A picture is worth a thousand words as they say! (I hope the picture is above) Creative rolls, a great staff, they always try and please. Try an "Oh My God " roll. Mixed Tempura is always hot, not greasy and the vegetables are crunchy and fresh. The full bar is nice, and they try to have a few special... More

We dine at a few different Sushi restaurants in the area, but my favorite is Sushi Planet. They have the largest selection of the most imaginative rolls, my favorite is, 'Mr. Tommy Roll.' Their fish seems always extremely fresh. My wife loves their tuna. They offer early bird specials. Staff is friendly and fun.

Much enjoyed last night (12/04) our 3rd visit in recent months to our Thousand Oaks/Westlake neighborhood's Sushi Planet -their 'Dynamite' dish alone is worth visit -but the Albacore in Cucumber Wraps was scrumptious as was the mixed 8 piece sushi plate (with Miso soup)-washed down with our favorite cloudy Nigiri Sake -followed by a shared yum Green Tea Ice Cream... Was up in WLV for work and stopped in for dinner at this quaint spot, located in a shopping center. Fish was fresh - friendly staff ... we will definitely be back!
