Read numerous reviews that this is a great diner. We had mediocre food & sketchy service. I wouldn't recommend.
We are sorry we did not provide you a positive experience during your last visit. Our goal is to provide fast and friendly service and obviously we failed. Your feedback will be brought to the attention of our management in an effort to prevent this from happening again. We know that there are literally dozens of places to eat out,... More
You know what you are getting when you go to Norms. Same at every other norms, just like Denny's or any other place. But we prefer it over Denny's. We had to special steak and ribs, both were good, but I found the ribs to be a little dry. STeak was tender, and we go soup and salad with dinner.... More
take a step back to when coffee shops weren't for designer lattes. reasonable food at reasonable prices, quick service, for added bonus sit at the counter. have a special, enjoy the atmosphere, and avoid paying too much elsewhere. way above Denny's, but what isn't. made a u turn in traffic when I saw one-made my day...since 1949
We are regulars, "the best", open 24 hrs. Have been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and after hours. You can order it all 24 hours. It's comfort food, I can have breakfast for dinner or vice versa. Early bird specials include it all with dessert. Love it everyday day if we could!
My son and I had breakfast at the Norm's Whittier this morning; his treat. He's a wild land fire fighter and body builder, so the quality of the food is as important as the quantity. Norm's, especially this Norm's, excels at everything: the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, the manager is out on the floor keeping... More
To be fair I only have had breakfast here. They offer a good breakfast special, you know the kind that offers eggs bacon or sausage, your choice of potatoes, slice of ham and toast. With coffee about $10. (they always seem to have a coupon online.) As I said competitive but food taste was just average and coffee was old... More
It was my first time going to Norms I had high expectations and I was disappointed. The waiter Noah was chatting with his friends and caught our order wrong four times and the waiters were nosy. Never going there again.
If you are looking for a place to eat and get full Norms is that place. Serving sizes are unreal, food is excellent, locations are perfect and affordability is not an issue. Every time I go the place is Packed which is a great sign. Do not allow the wait if any discourage you from staying, it's totally worth the... More
Went to Norm's based on distance from Whittier Hospital. First time at any Norms. A lot of people were waiting in and outside but turn around time was quick. Sat down, order was taken quickly but did not come right away. Ordered lumberjack breakfast with pancakes. It came somewhat cold. Didn't bother complaining for the fear of what may happen(you... More
