Over the years, Loose Caboose has consistently been serving delicious sandwiches, salads and soups. I love the Vegetarian Station sandwich, and the southwestern chicken salad, but everything on the menu is full of flavor and good quality ingredients. Always busy at lunchtime, so go early or later for less of a wait.

This is a small, family-owned place in a small town. It is open for lunch only. I have eaten there several times and have enjoyed both lunches. The soups are made from scratch and are amazing. The sandwiches are creative and served on very fresh, crunchy bread. The wait staff is happy and courteous. Highly recommended for lunch in Willitts.

The best place in Willits for lunch. It's a very small restaurant with lots of character. Many locals go there for lunch and whenever I have visitors I always try to take them there. They are only open for lunch.

We were just passing through on our way to Mendocino, and wanted to try something different for a lunch stop. The Loose Caboose Cafe turned out to be a great place. I had the Club Car sandwich, and it was delicious. It was perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients on a toasted roll. My wife had the Extreme Veggie sandwich, and... More

My wife and I went to the Loose Caboose based on a recommendation from our daughters family and a check on Trip Adviser. A caution is that this restaurant is Cash only. It was a quiet Friday afternoon so it didn't seem busy. We were seated and our drink order was taken quickly. My wife ordered a special spinach salad... More

We travelling through Willits on our way to the coast and found this outstanding little place to stop for lunch. Their sandwiches are out-of-this-world! A must try!

I had the chicken pesto artichoke sandwich with ranch dip. Friends had the French dip and one of the salads. It was all great but we all liked my meal the best. Great service, great front porch. You should definitely give this place a try.

We decided to stop in here on our road trip after reading some good reviews. They were right! The french dip was so delicious! My son had the vegetarian sandwich and he said it was great too. Cute little place with friendly service. Glad we stopped here!
