Always good service, no matter how busy. We were there the day before Thanksgiving, Got just what we wanted, just the way we ordered it. Manager adjusted the air, when I mentioned being uncomfortable because of the air conditioner. Big Thanks!!

This place was okay. Our server was friendly and very prompt. The menu is really typical of restaurants of this type. I always figure that a sandwich is the best bet. They have bottled beer but no draft. Black Bear Diner is a short walk...More

On our way back home at the end of a 4-week road trip from the Bay Area to Canada, we stopped at BBD for dinner. Not crowded, and though very slow, service was friendly. I know, I know....I should never have ordered the "Wild Alaskan...More

We went down I 5 going to Sacramento, and stopped in Willows for brunch. Black bear is right off the freeway near a couple gas stations, so you can fill up the car and yourselves. Had a lot of carry out, way too much food...More

As expected with chain, good food and great portions. Pancakes, eggs, etc., all good. Service was very good. Ambiance and black bear theme fun, especially for young ones. This location very convenient to I-5, plenty parking.

The staff is friendly enough, but not customer savvy. For really the best choice for a "clean" restaurant, the staff acted like they were over worked. For large party, expect to keep reminding them for water, coffee, etc. Check glasses, silverware and dishes for cleanliness!

Yes there is! When you are in the diner, you will be handed a separate menu with kids activities on it. If you look our menu up online, go into the menu and then cubs section - you will see it in another format.
