Chicken pot pie followed by fresh homade desserts (especially seasonal berry pie), served by friendly efficient staff and all at excellent value prices. What more needs to be said. You won't be disappointed.

The service was extremely slow and the food was terrible. There was a group of four of us and everyone there hated the food. Two out of the group got sick. Probably because of how disgusting the kitchen is.

I stopped by Heather’s in Basalt as part of a long bike ride on a Sunday afternoon in the Aspen area. I was warned by my server that the main course pot pies – Heathers’ specialty - took 20 minutes so instead opted for the...More

A local resident recommended we have lunch at Heather's, and we are so glad we did. We shared a Small Caesar and Tequila Sunrise Pasta. Then we shared cherry pie a la mode. Wow! It was all delicious! We drove over from Aspen and were...More

We were passing through a sporting goods store and entered into a conversation with a local woman about restaurants. "In Basalt Colorado Heather's is the place for local comfort food." The advice was spot on. The Lamb shepherd pie is wonderful. Dessert of flourless chocolate...More

We went because they had some gluten-free options and enjoyed it. In fact we ate there two nights in a row. Chicken pot pie was great as were the five-spice salmon and beef offerings. Not everything is gluten free but they try harder than many...More

Biked from Aspen and stopped for lunch. The salads were good and chicken pot pie was awesome! And our waitress was very friendly! We would go back.

Great local place, usually good music. I usually get the pot pies, I love the lamb shepherds pie, but the chicken pot is great. I have had the pot roast which was terrific. I do recommend reservations and ask to sit in the back or...More

Management really needs to step it up a bit. Quality control in food and staffing clearly lacking. Could be a great, but food was just OK for visiting family My two poached eggs with beet hash were best plate on table. Side note: The beets...More

We live in the area and go to Heather's A LOT. Despite our frequent meals there, they treated us very poorly tonight. Similar rude treatment happened the last time we were there (and for my father's 78th birthday) - the waiter was cranky and impatient...More

The Denver Examiner describes our eatery as a “gem of a place”. Aspen Real Life calls our food a cure for “anyone suffering from homesickness”. And BBC America says, “Heather’s is all about comfort and warmth when it comes to both the atmosphere and the food.” Naturally, this is music to our ears, as we strive for comfort, warmth, and delight in everything we do! Whether it be Heather’s handmade pot pies, the cozy atmosphere, our gracious staff, or spirited world class entertainers – it is truly our ambition to have our guests relish everything about our establishment. We invite you to escape to our haven to find comfort in our food, feel unhurried by our service, be swept away with the music, and revel in good cheer.
