This is the place we meet friends from up and down the valley for Mexican. It is worth the drive from Aspen every time we really crave authentic Mexican. They have a extensive menu of classic items, but I order the seafood molcajetes so often I have to remember to try all the other good things.

I was very disappointed with the food but more with the service. The server was very unattractive. We had a group of 8 and I felt that he knew he was getting a tip no matter what so he just didn't care. The empanadas I had seemed like they were fried in old oil they were very brown and greasy.... Overall decent meal but not the best Mexican for sure. I had the carne Asada which was just ok. Good guacamole and margaritas and the bartender who served me was lovely and attentive.

El Korita stays pretty busy at dinner. I've tried to go several times but the bar was full and the wait for a table was too long. However, I've eaten there twice recently and recommend sticking with Mexican dishes. A colleague told me that they were known for their seafood so I tried the grilled seafood. It was disappointing. The... More

Was staying close by so we walked over having a couple choices and decided we wanted a margarita, and I'm so glad we did, they hit the spot, coupled with an order chips, guacamole, which were plentiful. Should have known the plates would be as well, we all ordered different combos, which again was a big plate. Loved my tamale... More

I used to love the carnitas here - a generous portion of moist and tender pork. I ordered it last week and was served a sad portion of hard dried strips of mystery meat. It was like old hard dried pieces of jerky. This is a fairly expensive item on their menu and it looked like it had been sitting... More

The bartender forgot to ring in our order so we were sitting there for 40 min. After she apologized and rang it in, the manager even came to the table to try to offer a good service or to show that they cared that we were just sitting waiting for our order that wasnt put it in the computer. The... More

Prices not bad for a ski town, Our food was OK but not amazing, but honestly I think we ordered wrong. They had a big Seafood menu, and we didn't order fish, also I saw a lot of tables ordering Mocajete, which looked good but we did not try that either. It is a lot of food, and we weren't... More
