The actual facility is nice and has a lodge feel. The snowcat ride up was nice. The ride back down was VERY fast. So fast and bumpy a woman fell out of her seat onto the floor. The wine list was very lack luster. The...wine assistant said his wine list was “drained” and he wasn’t kidding. Not sure how this could happen when this large resort knows that 2 big weekends are coming. Super Bowl Sunday then Presidents’ Day. He never came by to offer to pour our wine. Our server was pleasant, but very slow. It was almost 2 hours into our dinner and no main dishes out yet. We had to almost beg for water as well as plates for our starter. VERY slow. Past the point of a relaxing meal. This restaurant wants the props of a 5 star, 20% gratuity dining experience and fails to deliver. Very expensive. Very subpar. This was our second time to Alleys and our last for a while.More

Allie’s Cabin is a cozy on-mountain lodge with beautiful views overlooking Beaver Creek Village and the mountain. Reserved for members during the day, Allie’s Cabin opens up to those with dinner reservations in the evening. You will arrive via a 10-15 minute open-air sleigh ride...up the mountain which is a truly unique experience. Make sure you dress warmly for the ride, it gets chilly at night! Once you arrive at Allie’s Cabin, the great food, service and views makes it a unique experience to prioritize. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but we still found the overall experience worth it! For those looking for a workout and have access to snowshoes, you can also snowshoe up the mountain to Allie’s (but make sure you plan your route and know where you are going first). Our reservation was for 5:15. We were told that is the time the snowcat/sled would pick us up. We were a large party-14, 8 adults and 6 kids 8 and under. We arrived at the pick up point at 5:05. It was 13 degrees out...with out somewhere in side to keep warm. Snowcat finally showed up at 5:35. Ride up was fun. They sat us right down. We had a table of 10 and a kids table of 4. Waitress through all of this was very good. Got our wine and drink orders in. The wine guy was not very good or helpful. Waitress took our orders right away after cocktails and wine was served. So we had our orders in around 6:00. Starting at 6:30 we started asking about the orders. 6:45 came and we went to the greeters to ask what was going on. One of them left for the kitchen, not to be seen again, and the other one said it was not her responsibility. At 7:00 we made noises that we had to get the kids back. Waitress again was great and boxed up our dinners and we were waiting for the “people mover” by 7:20 with food in had. The greeter actually did a great service by getting the “people mover” there to pick us up. Our group took up the whole vehicle.More

Allie's Cabin is a very nice adventure, but, I want to share one thing that we got lucky with.......make sure you do this adventure when there is a Full Moon!!!!!! OMG!!!! The ride up and down is majestic!!!! Everything is lit up to the point...that it is a picture post card!!!! Just incredible!!! Now for my review of the food. Actually, we did not expect it to be as good as it really was! Really, really GOOD!!! I had the Elk Filet and my wife had the Pork Chop Tomahawk. Really GOOD!!!! If I have to critique anything, I will have to say that the staff did not fill my water glass and iced tea glasses at all. They never came by to even ask. We had the 7:30 seating and really there was no excuse for this. The numbers were very lite at this time and should not have been a problem to this level. The ride and food are excellent, but, the service had a little problem. The price will catch you a little. Even though they list $105 per person, our final bill with tip automatically included, was $316 for 2. I cannot imagine what the cost would be for a family of 4 with Adults drinking wine. I would have to say that the table next to us that had bottles of wine spent over $1000 for their meal. Once again, the ride and food were great, but, be ready for the price tag and the possiblity of poor service. We had a very nice time, but, we most likely will not return.More

We had wonderful dinner in this restaurant. The sleigh ride was great: we had great weather that day, the sky was completely cloudless, so we can see fields of stars so close. There was great view of lightened village too from the sleigh. We loved...the interior of the restaurant. The food was just wonderful! The service was very impressive, though the stuff consisted of very young people mostly, but all of them were very professional and pleasure to deal with. The place is pricey, yes. But this area is pricey in general. So we were prepared for that. And I feel like we got wonderful experience for the money we paid. Highly recommend!More

The ride up was a novelty in a snow-cat pulled carriage. We loved that and enjoyed the view of the stars and the village at night in the winter. The service was excellent; Hannah was attentive and sophisticated, very knowledgeable. However, we all felt the...food was sub-par for what we paid. Also, it's a beautiful, unique space, but several families had children with them and let them run around unattended. The management did nothing about it. The whole thing felt like cheesy dinner theater where the staff has you on a timer and then the next "bus" comes in and it's time for you to go. We just got served our desserts (mediocre at best) and then the check came with a "take your time" comment. No one asked us if we wanted coffee or tea. Anyway, if you're used to spending $700 for a 4-person dinner, you're probably used to better quality experiences than this.More

A really nice, European-like place along the slopes with a beautiful view through the aspen trees to the entire valley. With good options between a buffet-style offering and a menu to chose from. Especially the soups and salads are very good.

After we checked in at the Chophouse, we had a great ride up the mountain in the snow. Wrap up warm! We had a table with a great view. The service was very good. The choice of food was excellent The one disappointment was the...kids buffet which had very little choice - warm chicken or congealed Mac and cheese. Given how good the adult food was it was a shame a little more effort hadn’t been made for the children. As if the kids are happy the adults are happy!More

Nice snowcat ride up to the restaurant. It was super busy and was surprised we got a reservation for that night. The food was mostly good. My fish was too dry, either over cooked or sat around for a while. Our desserts never came and...we needed to catch the ride down. Wait staff nicely offered to quickly box them up to go, but they were not what we ordered. They hurriedly changed them out and got them to us as we made it out the door. Seems like VAIL Resorts is experiencing a severe worker shortage this year. We’ve noticed a lack of workers/services all over VAIL & Beaver Creek this winter.More

We loved this experience. To eat at Allies cabin you must be a member for lunch or make a reservation for dinner which includes a snow cat sleigh ride up to the cabin. The sleigh ride takes roughly 10 min where you are seated behind...the snow cat on a sleigh with thin blankets so dress warmly. Once you have arrived the cabin let’s you shed some layers and replace your boots with cozy slippers that they provide. The cabin is beautiful and provides a beautiful view of Beaver Creek at night from atop the mountain. The meal is a 3 course meal with appetizer, main course and dessert. There is a kids buffet with dessert including ice cream with multiple choices of toppings. Meal choices were great including risotto, trout, elk filet, lamb and many others. The food we all thought was very good. Three course meal with snow cat transportation cost $80 and $40 for kids. Great experience and we would do it again!More

I read a number of reviews before we booked a Friday dinner at Allie’s Cabin. (Note that some nights are “wine dinners” and others, including our night, are just regular dinners). Lots of really good reviews for both experiences. The only negatives I read primarily...dealt with prices, quality of food and fumes from the Cat pulling the sleigh. Our family had a wonderful time. Mild diesel smell at first then it went away. Non event for us. Our “guide” on the sleigh was Dillon and he was fun and engaging. I thought the food was excellent considering the whole experience. None of the four of us had a bad dish. My Colorado rack of lamb was very good. Our waitress was excellent and informative. We had a beautiful evening with clear skies and a full moon. But it’s cold! The cabin was warm and the slippers are a nice touch. Like i said, our family had an excellent time from beginning to end. I recommend it!!More

Allies Cabin is a member only restaurant during the day, but on most Thursday evenings in the winter, they open up to the public for a 5-course wine dinner. Each week the wines and menu change and having been to a few I can say...that the pairings are wonderful, no matter what the wine is. You get there by meeting at the bottom of Beaver Creek mountain and ride upon an open-air sleigh, pulled by a snowcat. Thursday evenings are also fireworks on the mountain, and from the cabin, you are almost eye level for the display as you enter. If you like great food and wine then sign up for one of these dinners for sure!!More

We did this as a family of four. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our shuttle up the mountain (it left at our reservation time). In a snowstorm, it was interesting and fun for the kids. The shuttle takes about 10 minutes. At...the mountain restaurant, the service was excellent and dinner was actually quite quick (we felt a bit rushed actually). The room is beautiful. The kids' buffet was OK - they weren't thrilled with the chicken (roasted). They liked the ice cream sundae buffet. Our meals were fine. The price (almost $400) was really high for the experience though.More
